I’m sitting here at 30 years old listening to this and it makes me feel like the teenager I was when I first started listening to Simple Plan. I love this song! Edit: 7 months after this comment I can’t believe the reactions it’s gotten. This song has helped me through some really tough times mentally this past year. I’m here to tell those of you that are just now seeing this, we got this. This is where we belong. 🙏🏼

The real music of youth, revolution, resistance, growing up, etc Punkers' looks even stand as a symbol in TONS of literature and entertainment as those that survive the apocalypse, or other misfortunes, and create a new world. Just off the top of my head: Warriors Mad Max Hook Or more recent: Deadly Class Punk has put misfits on the map, man And the best thing about punk? It comes in soooooo many varieties. From real fucking heavy to very poppy, to even rap, hip hop and yes, classical music It blends in with almost every music there is That's why punk will never die Also, everyone agrees on this: fuck The Man. I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! Pop punk just /sounds/ like optimism and youth- every last harmony and power chord hook is full of hope. I didn't have a good time in high school and this song with three generations of pop punk, albeit a little cheesy, just reminds me of how much time I have left, makes me want to spend all of it where I belong. :'')

Damn, i've been listening to SP since i first heard Perfect way back in the early 2000's as a kid/teen who had no idea who i was or where i was going or who my real friends were. I'm in my mid 30's now &.... Not much has changed since then but most of all the biggest thing that hasn't changed? My love of Simple Plan. Y'all are the reason i never take the stairs down in a building (for context, i'm in a wheelchair & if i took the stairs unaided i'd probably die). Wow that got dark, lol. In all seriousness though i just want to say, thank you Sebastian, thank you Jeff, thank you Chuck, thank you Pierre. THANK YOU SIMPLE PLAN!
