Locations that are the Way of the Hero have at least one "important item" in them, which is anything that isn't considered junk. If a location is foolish, then it is NOT Way of the Hero - i.e. every item there is considered junk. Special note that buildings and grottos are included in the area they connect to for this, so for example Fishing and the Lakeside Lab are part of Lake Hylia, while Hyrule Field includes all the grottos in it, although things get a bit more confusing with mixed pool entrance rando. Mixed pool entrance rando is the setting where any entrance can lead to any other entrance (except with boss doors and rooms, and market/alley/richard's house), whereas entrance rando normally connects random entrances within a category (for example, building entrances connect to a random building interior, aside from Gerudo Fortress which is not considered a building by entrance rando because otherwise it could become really hard to get to anything on the higher floors, particularly glitchless).
