Whenever the police file disappears the police or police staff have to be considered suspects. The two men could have been off duty officers.

The people who worked at the places she went with the men were really dumb😂. If I'd seen a bloody woman being told what to do by one or two men as soon as they'd left I'd be calling the police🤷🏽‍♀️. Who just lets that go?

Why did her boss go to the last place she was seen by her co worker rather than her house? Why would they believe she would still be there - unless they knew the car would be there xx

Totally sounds like she had a stalker ex-boyfriend ...hence why she was scared but still agreed to meet up with him, that's the nature of abusive relationships.

I love your videos like this because you do different cases to other youtubers and I don't feel like I've watched the same mystery video about 10 times

Was there any reason that her boss went to the car park to look for her and her car? When she didn't turn up to work an innocent enquirer would presumably ask her coworker something along the lines of. Did she seem okay when you saw her last night? Have you seen her since? And the coworker would say 'yes she seemed happy, haven't seen her since we got into our cars.' Why didn't he presume that meant driving off and arriving home. (Possible impact of the outing could be food poisoning, hangover or tiredness which is a reason he'd ask her co-worker) Why did he even know she'd had dinner plans with her coworker? was it widely known she'd been there?, or did he constantly ask about her plans or did he see them there? was he there? did he abduct her? It's almost as though he has begun investigating to shift the focus and appear concerned and dumbfounded by her absence. I can't imagine I'd be considered missing if I was late for a shift or never showed, at the most they would ring my phone or my next of kin. He would also have her work phone number which he could have been calling from his office to avoid drawing attention to them speaking in person considering her noticeable distress. Did they trace the calls she had received? To an extent he even has leverage against her, her job is in his hands. Perhaps she got the job so quickly after arriving in the town because of a previous connection they has that neither wanted to be public knowledge? Did she have experience in finance or was it unusual to get that job, I didn't think women typically worked in that field in that time? Does he fit the description of either of the men who were seen instructing her in the store, even vaguely? Sorry, ignore all of that, I'm a writer, I love side-character development. I wonder if it would be a useful skill for officers to have. They could have each officer on the case write a scene describing the logistics of her being taken by force in public, then explore each avenue that their individual work experience and imaginations conjure. A 'how would you do it' - Instead of a 'who done it' Ignore my pondering, I just find it very unusual. If someone said 'we parted in the car park and I haven't seen her since,' I wouldn't assume she was still I'm the car park.

Its such a shame that neither of the gas station workers grabbed the license plate. Both of them saying they spotted a bloodied up woman being coached or instructed by two men is such an obvious sign of a bad situation. I wish something more could have been done especially knowing she was alive for a while following the abduction. Thats assuming of course the bloodied up woman was her.

This is quite interesting, but it is awful that these things happen and that the police lack. It is so sad to think of how many decades these people have been missing, they are sisters, brothers, mothers, and fathers. I feel like a lot of the time the police are lazy, make a mistake, or lack recourses to properly investigate. :(

I live in Atlanta and lived in Charlotte. The writers who wrote the stories about Mary complained about not getting help from certain “authorities” that evidences seemed to disappear out of the blue. A classmate knew her in Myers Park and at UNCG. I had a friend whose late brother knew her at Myers Park. They believe she died like Diane Shields. But, another theory was that a homosexual ring was going on at the bank and that the marriage between Roy and her was just a front. That Mary took off with her lover and left the country. Hence, no help from the police or her family.

Okay so heres my theory. She had had a relationship with whoever was on the phone call. That person had begun stalking her (i.e. "im afraid to be alone" ). He was probably leaving things in her car and around her house while she wasnt looking and shed find them later. That person got fed up with her declining his advances and decided "if i cant have her no one can". He was waiting in her car when she got out of the meal with her friend and ended up kidnapping her and taking her to a buddys house, had his fun, and dropped her car off back in the parking lot. The underwear and bra were a "ha ha i got her now" to her husband.
