The bank will do anything to keep your money. Try to go to your bank and say I detest your banking customer service. I want my 25,000 monies In cash . 👩🏽🤷🏽‍♀️🐐🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🐫, The bank will laugh at you and then start asking questions like “Are you being threatened to have this money withdrawn “? We do not know it is all bad. Her brother said that she sounds very good when she calls and that the question of renewed guardianship comes up for review soon and they will have a chance to be involved then. It is the publicist who sounds to me "might be" a problem. But we really don't know that either. Guardianship has its own limitations and there may be somethings [like her trip to LA] that even the guardian may not have been able to say no to if Wendy persisted in wanting to go. However, overall, I think conservators and guardians need to be supervised as well ~> overall, more transparency. And termination of a guardian should be easier, too. I was appalled at what happened to Britany Spears.

Her son was one of the reasons that Wells Fargo froze her accounts, just listen to what the host is saying. They're doing an investigation on him and his Dad. Who needs a 100k to go see a concert? Exactly! My husband and I already planned to update our wills but I told him we need an entire estate plan. Now I need to make sure we have wording about a guardian and secondary guardian in case the other is unable to care for me and vice versa for my husband. Smh I would hate someone to come and take over what we have worked hard for and our kids get pennies if that smh

The system is corrupt, from the judge, appointed lawyers/guardians to the dirty rotten banksters. Remember how she always spoke seriously against anyone making friends? She was very negative about making friends. The moment it happened when everyone claimed it was "staged", I KNEW something was wrong. Now we know it was only the beginning, and it's traumatic to watch. For her loved ones I'm sure. My uncle has pre frontal dementia brought on by alcoholism and he forgot about 10 years of his life couldnt remember his divorce his kids moving out, his own name at one point. He goes missing occasionally and its sad to see he is the shell of the man he usto be.

I could see the hurt in her son and nephews face too. What they weren't mindful of, was ordering alcohol in front of Wendy! I know young people don't think, because they want what they want. But you can't drink in front of someone with a drinking problem. It's is disrespectful, to drink in front of an alcoholic. You don't do that, you MUST be mindful.

They did not order the wine. Wendy had ordered it. When it came they were surprised & they asked who it was for & then they quickly said they would drink it so that she wouldn't have it. They stepped in to stop her from drinking but they never ordered the alcohol. They weren't really drinking it either, they were just trying to pacify the situation & not make it a big deal because you never know how an alcoholic will react to you taking their drink away. They did the best they could in the moment. No judgment from me cause that is a tough situation. Praying for peace, clarity, & strength for their whole family. 🙏

ALSO If you watched the SHOW she has stated before she was not able to have access to social media, phone etc during her time in a sober house as well. That momentary interaction between her and Blac Chyna had me in tears. It was one of the most authentic displays of love and deep friendship. I don’t know much about BC except for how she is many times negatively presented in celebrity news; but in this short moment I saw who she really is beneath that character she presents. She is a loving, empathetic ride or die friend. When Wendy showed her foot. Angela didn’t look repulsed….she looked concerned. When Wendy spoke, she never challenged her…just let her speak her truth, even if it wasn’t right. And the part that made me cry was when Wendy took off her wig….how Angela instantly leaned forward and caressed her head. The look in Angela’s eyes at that moment was pure non judgmental love…like between a mother and a daughter. When they hugged it was just the sweetest moment and Wendy truly looked happy and at peace. 💜

In 2021, my mom was diagnosed with FTD. I had never heard of it but the behavior and personality changes finally made some sense. This doc was so hard for me to watch because I come from a family the opposite. My family is in denial. This type of dementia affects younger people. If anything, it raises awareness but they should have never exposed Wendy Williams this way. It’s truly sad to see it unfold. The lack of empathy is part of the disease too. I hope the ones who love her genuinely can be in her corner.

I hated to see it, and yes, I had tears 😢, but I'm glad they did it, this needed to be exposed. In my opinion, the guardianship and judge need to be investigated. I also believe that Wendy's documentary will shine light on the egregious acts that's done in a lot of cases, and I believe someone battling addiction will get help after seeing what has happened to Wendy in regards to dementia.

I agree with you. The sum total of my thoughts as I watched. I shifted from indifference to tears about her. I pray that she gets everything she needs to be healthy. Fam restored. It was tough to think about her legacy and her being alone so much. Cognitive decline is hard. I'm caregiver for my husband with it. Love is needed and care is important for the care recipient.

That type of Dementia is actually true. My father passed away in 2018 of Dementia, due to years of alcohol abuse. He could remember things from back in the 80’s and before, but couldn’t remember that he had a 20 year old granddaughter. I was told that you have to be on those guardian’s azz because they lie and are sneaky when it comes to money.

I think that’s the plan during this next hearing. Hopefully a high power attorney will step in to assist after watching this documentary. The family may not have funds. The one thing is Wendy’s allowed to call them so maybe they can call the lawyer on 3 way but I wouldn’t even trust that bc someone may be listening on Wendy’s calls since the family doesn’t know where Wendy is. I’m not sure if Wendy knows her location even though she did sound better on that phone call.

Great review of the documentary. I've listened to several reviews of the documentary this week and by far, Big Boy you were the most compassionate and non-judgmental of them all. In addition, your highlights of the documentary and take-aways were my same sentiments. Thank you for reviewing this documentary from a personal experience and giving a compassionate voice to the family of what they wanted to accomplish. I agree, this documentary shouldn't have displayed Wendy Williams in the negative light, but it exposed the breakdown with conservatorship and family loosing control of taking care of their loved ones. The system is broken and I feel above all that the family has had to fight, they wanted to expose how broken it is and how it destroys a family.

My mom had two of us snd my brother met an accident and resulted in him being mentally ill. I stood by him in my own way until he died. Only a year older than me he was family who paid my school fee . No way i was going to ignore him. God bless his soul. He died in December 200 and i still remember his kindness towards me. Now 74 i am so happy i helped all i could.

Her publist was crooked and delusional. She was absolutely lying when she said that she didn't see a change in Wendy. The management team didn't seem to care either. Wendy needed 24/7 help. At the end said that when they realized that she had dementia they stopped filming ... the production company said they would have never done it if they knew .... it was extremely heartbreaking to watch. I was never a fan of Wendy Williams however I never want to see anyone suffer and be taken advantage of. It's horrible how the people around her are not taking care of her. I pray that her family gets control of her estate and she gets better.

When you have thyroid issues and you miss your meds and or your vitamin D and calcium is low it can cause you to pass out. She has Graves and that causes your eyes to pop out. So it’s not all the drinking I think it’s a combination of all of that.

The court did speak with the family first. When the court asked Wanda (Wendy's sister) if she wanted to be Wendy's guardian, Wanda said she didn't know what being a guardian involved. They advised her she needed to take classes. Wanda said she'll do it but yet haven't done anything. In NY, training must be completed before anyone can be assigned as a guardian. The court went ahead and assigned Wendy an already trained and experienced guardian but the assigned guardian was temporary. To me, that was perfect bc while Wendy had a temp guardian in place and her sister could've completed training and anything else the court may require. Then file court documents requesting to be her sister's guardian, and presenting to the judge her training completion along with any other information if needed. I doubt the judge would've denied the request considering her sister was the very first person the court asked if she was interested in being Wendy's guardian. It's now 2 yrs later and I think Wendy's guardian is now permanent. Still at any time her family can contest the guardianship. The court reviews Wendy's guardianship every year.

Lil Kevin is, for all intents and purposes, a child. His mom may have been acting "odd", but I guarantee she always spent on him, the way she spent on herself. He didn't try to scam her. He now knows her diagnosis, so offer him some financial guidance and provide him some understanding on how this diagnosis affects her judgement and ability to earn future income, and I'm certain he'll act accordingly. He and/or his aunt deserve a chance to care for her free of interference.

Everyone should relax about her guardianship! It exposed everyone involved. There are rules to removed guardian for failing support/taking care of a ward. This documentary is what was needed to execute a removal.
