Church Hurt! if being hurt by church causes you lose faith in God, then your faith was in people not in God.

@Kate B I know that. I have been saved for many years, and I thank God for His endless mercy and grace. I live to please Him, and not a day goes by I don't thank Jesus for the pain and sacrifice He went through to shed His Royal Red blood so that sinners like me have forgiveness of sin and eternal life with Him and through Him. I loved this sermon. I loved Peter, b/c though he loved Jesus so dearly, he was so painfully human. Always tripping over his tongue. Peter, I feel ya. I really do. You were so much better than me. I love Jesus with all my heart. It's just "Jump in with your whole heart. It is really that simple. It's ALL about Him."

Faith founded in the truth because Jesus didn't say "Follow Christian" He said "Follow Me" I like Jack, you're so practical no gimmicks just simply truth.

For me my age means one day closer to my Jesus. I worked hard for every gray hair and wrinkle. I live in Alaska and I love to watch the Lords world come alive every morning and I listen every day on my way to and from work to you and many others or worship music. Gives me such joy.

Jack, I have come to love and praise our Father for the messages you prepare that I have gleaned , kept on track, and shared to so many others. My prayer is that your church system mentioned in this video, would come to our community that the membership is not of a typical way we know today, but rather it is relied on through Him, and focus is on what is approved is based on what HE stipulates. Thank you so much, and please pray for that leader to enter our community who will raise up the bound and make a change that will reach to so many. Small but mighty we pray.

Amen pastor Jack, do possess us dear Lord Jesus, and cause us to run this race to the end and truly finish well and be pleasing to You every single moment until you take us all home to you or us separately, but to be that witness of who You are in a person's life when they are touched by You Dear Precious Lord Jesus Christ

I have Warren Wiersbe's books, they are so good...He used to be on the radio here...it was called "Back to the Bible"

Warren Wiersbe did "back to the Bible" here in Australia...I listened to him every day, way back in the 80's he said his name, so it would have had to be him....Magee may have too, but not here in Australia...I have Wiersbe's books

@Kate B Ha! You both are on the right track. Weirsbe did a few years with the Back to the Bible programs - while J. Vernon McGee did the Through the Bible programs. Both were exegesis/expositional teachers - and wonderfully fundamental! Woodrow Kroll followed Weirsbe in the BTB programs - not sure who is doing them now.

This age that we now live in, where everything indeed is being redefined is an age of utmost urgency to know the scriptures . For if we do not know our scriptures we will be led astray, for instance, we have churches here that are so rigid and narrow minded in faith, that they think by dressing a certain way, and going to church twice day ,by not having a tv in the house, or going to the movies. that they will be saved, although they even ''hope '' because they believe God pre selects some to receive eternal life, it's downright creepy how these people are taught. I met a man of 82 years of age, who has never heard a prayer prayed out loud to God like (we ) I do, he was astounded, saying he's never heard prayers that can be prayed in such a way, he said to me ,'' You stand up and go to bed with Jesus in your life... duh! of course!! but sad that he's been going to church all his life and does not have that personal relationship with Jesus, I pray the Lord will help me to help him. I 'm sorry I never got to know your pastor Chuck Smith, what a man he was, no wonder you are what you are today, you had a great teacher!

Yes Karen, we need to know our Bibles in order to defend our faith. It is crazy what churches have done and NOT taught. We are definitely seeing what the apostles and prophets were seeing. Stay strong in the Lord and the Holy Word of God Sister. I'll meet you by the river very soon!!!

How can anyone not love, admire and respect Ray Comfort? He is a true inspiration to all of us, and I pray daily to have his kind of courage. Jack has that same courage fighting the state of California and godlessness. Thank you Jack and thank God we have such warriors

@@gldesmarais9356 I have followed Ray for years and I would disagree. I have never heard him say anything about adding to the finished work of Jesus. Ray makes people realize we are all sinners in need of salvation, the salvation that comes from Jesus alone

Ray Comfort teaches the heresy of Lordship Salvation... “Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent).” SOURCE: LIVING WATERS ministry, SAVE YOURSELF SOME PAIN. Heresy! That is self-righteousness! Adding even the slightest work of self-righteousness to the Gospel corrupts it into a false way, a false plan, a road to damnation.

Sir Kaya Ray Comfort tells people to repent of sins first which is wrong. We get saved first by faith alone in what Christ did for us. Then God works in us.

@@GospelGirl1Cor15 Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, " Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Jesus taught repentance, the apostles taught repentance, so I stand by Ray--he is sharing what Jesus taught

@Sir Kaya - Notice what the Apostle Paul taught in Acts 20:21...“Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." You see, lost sinners need to repent TOWARDS GOD. Carefully notice in Mark 1:15 what Jesus said... “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Notice that Jesus DIDN'T say “repent ye, and forsake your sins.” No, rather, He said, “repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Pastor Jack. I am not trying to start any arguments regarding Ray Comfort. I used to listen to him as well. However, Ray teaches that you can lose your salvation. He teaches Jesus plus.....to keep salvation. Have I misunderstood him? I don't think I have. The Bible doesn't teach that you can lose your salvation, just the opposite. The Bible teaches eternal security. You have taught that as well and I and my family were saved while listening to your series on you need to know. How can you say that Ray comfort's messages are right from heaven when he teaches that you can lose salvation??? Please explain this to me. Thank you and God bless you and your family.

The only way you can lose your salvation is if you were never saved to begin with...false confessions...at least that's how I understand it

Please someone with knowledge on this topic. My niece has schizophrenia. It is said people who have this are demon possessed. She said she does believe Jesus was born, lived a perfect life and dies for all our sins. She knows the bible well but distorts the meaning at times. The scientists say she has a chemical unbalance in her brain. At one time she was a pretty sweet child. She has done a 180%. She told me she had stage 4 cancer. Will she go to Heaven? I truly need to know.

Judy Plummer this is not a simple answer sister, please get your bible and search the scriptures, first ask 5he Holy Spirit to help you ,John 14:15-26. John 15:16-17 John 16:7-15 now read Romans 10:8-13 does your niece believe Romans 10: 8-13? Hebrews 13:8 First John 3:23-24 Now read chapter 4 of first John , remember the events of Jesus when he came across those who were possessed of demons? Follow Jesus and see what he did and how he handled them. Does she believe that God raised Jesus from the dead? He died for our sins,Jesus the spotless lamb, God raised his Son from the dead on the third day for our justification, this part matters also. Also Isaiah 53:4-5 1st Peter 2:23-24 Galatians 3:1-14 ,22-29. I pray that Gods Holyspirit will lead you and guide you into all the truth , always seek the word of God it will never lead you away from God and Jesus our Lord, The Bible and Holyspirit will always lead you to God and Christ our Lord !

Kuuipo Jones Thank you for your guidance. I definitely will. Thank you so much to take the required time to lead me. She does admit all these things you wrote about believing he is spotless, was raised, died for our sins. All of it but at times the demons show up and what she says is all so ugly about our Lord. Then everything is twisted verbally and the anger is unbelievably ugly.

Kuuipo Jones I prayer of course and read the verses you sent. I have read the bibles entirety and it is known that studying, checking the circumstances with the bible is a must in order to understand truth. I will not raise anyone up or think where anyone will be once we are called. I am glad I put my message out there. Thank you once again.
