I have struggled with maladaptive thinking/day-dreaming and escapism/fantasy for the longest time and I understand that everything starts in the realm of the spirit first and foremost. That is thoughts, ideas, concepts, dreams, hope etc it all starts in the realm of thought & dimension of understanding. This message is actually what i spoke of few weeks ago and i desire and i pray for it. And thats a SERIOUSNESS about Jesus and His Word and Relationship with Him . Our older pastors some of them ... Hey!! When they spoke you didnt know if you had to stand on attention or had to start running and do pt! Our one pastor who went to Jesus few months ago. He used to be very serious when the service started. Now it was time to get serious and let Holy Spirit work. Now the jokes and chitter chatter stopped and we got serious with the Lord. The pastor would look over the people as he played guitar one of those with the 2 necks. And he had gift of decernment and God used the pastor in a mighty way. There i saw and experience limbs growing and demons casted out. And the pastor was a humble man and yet serious about Gods business. One week night service he said no someone is binding him its as if the Spirit cant flow. And he later asked me and a friend to take the one man home. Now that man did have some ugh shall we say issues before. So it didnt surprise me much when we had to drop him off at home. It may seem harsh at first but you know are we playing with God ? Or are we gona worship Him in Spirit and Truth?! What john said is true. Theres many preachers that are actually motivational speakers. Sadly many of them also dont allow Holy Spirit to work. We must reach the place and may God help us to reach it before this year ends! The place of not playing church anymore. Yes you can be friendly you can enjoy His presence in church , no need to sit with a straight face and sit and choke in suite and tie. We must be serious about God in our hearts!
