VDM, great work. You are on the right track. Follow your passion. You are doing God's work. Prisons(or deceitfully called CORRECTIONAL CENTRES now) are on exclusive list in the Constitution. Therefore, States cannot set up prisons. Only the Feds. But the states use poor vulnerable citizens to look for IGR through the courts, and dump human beings in the sh*tholes using state criminal court powers. States have no budget for the running of prisons, but they dump human beings there just to generate revenue. Very outrageous system we have in Nigeria. Don't play!

I agree with you on the "Awaiting Trial" I have been going to various Nigerian Prison for CSR for the past 20 years. Over 85 % are awaiting trails. There are people in prison for crazy reasons. Some people are in prison because of 2000 Naira........
