A quick little video from this morning. Breakfast time. Where’s Shadow??? She loves breakfast but she’s missing.
Well it’s the glorious season of bird chasing in the big paddock for dear Shadow. The gates are open from 7. She has 35 acres to patrol.
Could she be any happier?? I have to say, I just love seeing her so happy. Living carefree and doing as she pleases. I know you all know her story so I won’t retell. But knowing her journey, it makes it so much sweeter seeing her so happy.

This was impressive how calm everyone was eating their brekkie always knowing they will each get their share without any drama. Puppies learn to eat vert fast because of competition. What good trainers they are huh!

My first farm video was Luke and Sam on the bridge having a very somber conversation about whether Shadow could be rehabilitated and insure everyone’s safety. It wasn’t a bright moment. I’m always amazed the happy, busy dog she became with a whole ton of effort and love.

It was almost as if she needed permission to not attack the other dogs. For anyone unfamiliar, she came to the farm loving people and children but sneakily attacked any and all dogs....they think she was raised to be a fighting dog.

Our black lab was the same with added tears running down her face as she occasionally had to catch her breath. 😆 Her name also was Shadow. She had to have a leg removed but it didn’t slow her down. Such a happy happy loving dog.

@@kp8381 My vet gave me the large KONG, which screwed apart, and you filled the dome with the dry food. Had a hole in it, and then the dog had to roll it around to get the food out. That worked out great! She had to really work with it. She was so smart too! She figured that thing out right quick!! It resolved the problem of her throwing up 10 minutes after she hoovered out her bowl though. I never figured out how to keep her from pawing the water out of her bowl 🙄🤣. I ended up going through a roll of paper towels once a week at least, and refilling her bowl 3-4 times a day. I sure do miss that kid though.🌈

The wind blowing thru a eucalypts leaves is a lovely relaxing sound. Sometimes sounds like rain - other times the ocean. I luv them. We planted a dwarf bush eucalypt that didn’t grow very big but the birds loved it. And the dogs and children loved lying under it too. 😁 And the smell of the eucalypts, whether green or dry is beautiful.

Oh our beautiful shadow. What a wonderful dog, momma and an integral part of the pack. Always is so fun to see her and Miss Violet, Miss Red running or barking by each other. Almost like triplets. Love that little family and love the Evans family for giving them, their forever home. Happy weekend to all of you and thanks for the fun fact about gum trees. Stay safe. 💜🐶❤️

Like Shadow my staffie dosn't eat his food but just inhales it, then looks at me as to say where did it go you did't give me much. All ways love a Staffie vid my fav girls. 💜❤

Staffy's are my favs!! My profile pic is my girl (gone now 5 years) who grew to 18 years old! She was glorious and I can't wait to see her again one day!!! (Love all breeds but fell hard for this particular breed after rescuing four staffys over the years 💕).
