Great video as always. You do keep me laughing so thank you. Love your stitching. I've done the Sue Hillis Spool Xmas tree, started it in April at Floss Friends. There was a typo error on the chart. I emailed them and they replied Med Fudge is used for this backstitch, DMC 938 and not dark fudge as listed as that colour doesn't exist. Hope "the Turtle" found you ok. Met Sophie at Pink Scissors Fabrics a few days ago as we're on holiday with a friend not far from Bridgend and remembered you mentioning her shop. Fab place and lovely lady and I had to get some "gifts" for myself 😂 Hope you enjoyed the rest of the weekend and there were no more fire alarms 😂😂 Happy stitching xx

Be glad you were wearing knickers. I was away with my husband so.e 30years ago and we had a fire alarm at 5 in morning. I went out wearing just a facy short nightdress and froze as we were out for 2hours and I had no knickers. I aways have clothes ready at side of bed to put on in a case like that now. I tend to forego an extra outfit instead of packing a robe when I travel. After your experience I may need to rethink that! 😂After seeing your monthly Quakers I’m inspired to pick up the series for next year. They are so pretty.

I stitched 'Broderie a Paris' a couple of years ago and - according to my Stitch Journal - began my Christmas Spool Tree mid July 23 and finished it 16 days later (a record for me)!! Now my stitching finger is in a splint so am a monogamous stitcher until a 50th WA Sampler gift is done and off to be framed before the event and suffering withdrawal from my usual stitching what I'm in the mood to do☹️. I just laughed as always watching you - in the next County to me this weekend - and remembered that old song title 'They call me Smarty Pants'😂 Maybe before your disco days😮!! The Bedfordshire Lace course I went on in the 90s was during the summer at Notts Uni so much more basic than the Eastwood! Really enjoy the day today and safe journey home.

Sherrie I love your lamp, I had one and unfortunately the charger stopped working …I got a new charger thinking that was the problem but it was actually the lamp. I was so disappointed cause it was not that old

lol your just so Sherrie reminds of a time my OH went to a hotel for our wedding Anniversary, Now Sherrie ….we were young and love was new, so I had rose petals all over the bed and tea- lights burning ( this was before battery operated ones were on the scene, ) and the fire alarm went off, of course the OH leaps out of bed ( not a stitch on him) gathers up all the tea-lights and threw then in the bath , because we thought we had set it off….. of course then we had to stroll out of room trying not to look guilty and meet in the foyer, btw it wasn’t us, it was a fault in the alarm system, Well that put an end to any ideas we had for romancing that night…..lol

You keep laughing, no one should ever loose their sense of humour.

On that other cat one you are stitching, have you thought about putting in the initials of all your cats, through out the piece? I love that one as well. The colors are so pretty.
