Жыл бұрынChittagong Ship Breaking Yard is located in Faujdarhat, Sitakunda Upazila, Bangladesh along the 18 kilometres (11 mi) Sitakunda coastal strip, 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Chittagong.Handling about a fifth of the world's total, it was the world's largest ship breaking yard,until that record was taken by Alang in India.It employs over 200,000 Bangladeshis, and accounts for around one-half of all the steel in Bangladesh.

For the people wondering what the big tanks were, those were tanks to carry gas and liquids overseas in specialized tanker ships. And no, its not a "small part of the ship". The huge 3 tanks is 80% of the whole tanker ship ;)

Brother our hometown is Sandwip, It's an island and part of Chittagong You see the river in west side...from there to 25km West is the width between the main part of Chittagong and Sandwip.. whenever we come towards Chittagong we see those Tankies(you mentioned) clearly Looks like domes of mosque from far
