Nothing but love for KEV and our BRONCOS…… It’s been a wonderful year and something thats been missing from SUNCORP for years…..still the greatest crowds!!….but the buzz has been missing and so glad to see it back and thriving…we got our BRONX back but it was a hard road to go down to get back up.. 5:07 I remember when the Sharkies had such a dominate record against the Panthers, they were the Panthers bogey team pre 2020 At one point they beat Penrith 7 games straight between 2016-2019 including 3 times in the one season in 2018 when they played that cracking semi-final where Penrith came back from 18-0 down at half time and ended up losing it 21-20 in a nail biter, I still remember they had Cleary, Kikau, Yeo, Moses Leota among others who are still in the team today, and players who are former stars and now modern day superstars at other clubs. I remember Cleary missing a field goal from right in front to make it 21-21, there is no way he’ll miss that kick today as well as a long range field goal right on full time that he completely shanked. It’s crazy how far that team has come today.

This Brisbane team reminds me of the 2018 roosters. Electric fullback, 2 weapon centres which have complete opposite styles, a running 5/8 and a conductor in the 7 jersey. Not to mention the massive forward pack like the roosters had in 2018. A lot of similarities

@@chevizak6945the problem there is that Penrith dominates the origin team for the blues. Reality is, Cleary is a system player. More exemplified by the fact when he was out injured cogger came in and nothing changed. He goes missing when it gets hard and has no idea how to win on the back foot. Something that Sterling, langer, johns and Thurston all did often, Cleary is Brent sherwin with Andrew johns levels of media support.

The Broncos really aren't known for their offloads that much. They did it against the Warriors, but even Kevvie said in the press conference after that game (when a reported asked him about the offloads) he said, they haven't done it that much this season. I think the result will come down to, if the Broncos defend well and dont make many silly mistakes, their attack will beat Penrith. They seem to always play like they are down by 10 with 10 to go on nearly every set of 6 and if they get to the front, they got to control themselves a bit more and not always go for it every set, because they make silly mistakes doing this.

Broncos have enough depth to cover Farnsworth and Flegler. Reynolds still has a couple of years to go. Broncos are only going to get better next season. All their stars are in their early 20’s.

Im a Penrith fan and it’s true what gus said. We had an amazing star studded side full of confidence in 2020 but we lost that gf on experience for sure. We needed to know what it was like to get it right in 2021 and that’s the same with the broncos. After this gf they will be a new beast but until then it’s Penriths f time still baby.
