Guys and gals, thanks for all your comments, this way or that! Please remember, though, I did just the music, and was not a music major or anything like that. Just did it for fun and for the love of it. Also, there was no budget for this, and had to do everything in one single day and against various odds, though I'm not looking for excuses. So, some comments on the music, its aptness and effect on the movie will be welcome. I also agree, art is subjective, and this is far from reality, folks!

There is a Max inside all of us. That's the beauty of this Story. Sendack had a way of showing that childhood was not all rainbows and sunshine. Sometimes it stunk and we found solace in our own imaginations. When we came back it wasn't perfect but it was ours. R.I.P. Maurice Sendack There might never be another children's author/illustrator quite like you.

I remember when I discovered this years ago. I was 9 and now I'm 16 and I still love this. It's so awesome! :D

This is my first time watching since I grew up with Scholastic’s animated adaptation of this book but it still looks really cool and I enjoyed it

You're absolutely right!! If this was way back before the CGI b.s., it look like a top notch animation. Speaking of time consuming, these artist (true artists) don't get enough credit now a days. THIS IS HARD WORK

I tell ya one thing, being a fan of clay-mation, I seriously think that this 6 min. video looks way better than the movie.

I love claymation its so teadious and its cool to see the results of all the hard work come together....I wish I had that kind of patience

When I was little I sometimes imagine of my own adventures growing up and I would want to write my stories taken inspirations from my favorite stories. I think of where the wild things are as part of my childhood story when I write my stories and this video is amazing.

Fantastic! I read the book as a child, and to see it recreated in claymation is amazing! Anyone who criticises it may not realise how much effort goes into making something like this. Great work!
