My old Mac definitely did get a virus, and it was when I downloaded a sample for production. So be careful ppl. Never had a virus on my Windows PCs.

1. You mention that Mac doesn't get viruses that's untrue (in fact after other people see that you're just nonchalantly trusting google drives I would expect to see some people distributing viruses through this method). 2. This was a how to google tutorial with low effort and no trusted source.

For the virus myth, it’s all about Market Share. Mac and Linux hold a small share of the market and generally aren’t as worth while to create viruses for.
