Introduced as Batman's sidekick, Robin has had a storied history, whether it be Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake or Damian Wayne as the Boy Wonder. From origins, to forming the New Teen Titans and becoming his own hero as Nightwing, Red Hood, or Red Robin, there are more than enough comics to read, but if you're a beginner... where's the best place to start?

the 80s Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans was excellent. great art, higher stakes and it allowed the characters to grow. I was very happy when it premiered . There's not a lot of alternate Earth stuff in it so modern readers would be able to read without confusion.

Chuck Dixon and Devin Grayson's run on Nightwing is very good, i really want an omnibuses of the first 100 issues and like the one shots and minis

I would love the chuck Dixon runs in omnibus. Also, a 52 nightwing reprint, and the current Taylor run in omnibus. Def grew into one of my fav DC characters. Great vid!

You should do a teen titans for beginning. I read a couple of teen titans issues but I have never dived in. That is if you have time.

I have the first 2 volumes of Grayson, is is worth just getting the omnibus or keep searching for the rest of the volumes

I'm not sure what to read next. I read Year one, Man who laughs, Tim Sale Jeph Lobe omni, Venom, and I though I would read Death in the family before getting into Knightfall, Nightwing, No mans land but something is wrong. I'll be missing a big chunk of Grayson as Robin and gething right into the 2nd Robin getting killed. I was hoping to find more dynamic duo books with Grayson but it seems like that Teen Titans book you recommend is the only book in print that fits the time-line. Can you think of anything?
