The Funny Lion is the number 1 hotel chain in Palawan, Philippines. It was our 4th time in Coron, Palawan, and finally, we’re trying The Funny Lion Coron. We first tried The Funny Lion El Nido (vlog here - • Best Place to Stay in... ) and it has become one of our favorites. We kept on coming back to El Nido and stayed at The Funny Lion El Nido four times last year. This time, Jen and I were very excited as we were certain that The Funny Lion Coron will not disappoint.
True enough, The Funny Lion Coron did not disappoint! We enjoyed our stay there. We love the rooms, especially the Savanna. The perks of staying there (pawsicles, afternoon snacks, good night treats) were really a surprise! And of course, the superb customer service.

Rates In this vlog, we stayed in their 2 accommodations.
Savanna - 13,000 Php / night King Room - 10,000 Php / night
By the way, we booked our stay during a travel expo. So we got our rooms at cheaper rates.
So, if you are looking for a hotel or a place to stay in Coron, I'm recommending The Funny Lion Coron!

I really appreciate it when you include WiFi speed reports in your vlogs. That's one of the most important amenities i look for in a hotel or resort because i like to tutor online while on "vacation."

Yes the place looks classy!! We'll both are equally great most especially with their customer service. There are many spots to relax in Coron plus they have afternoon snacks and evening treats.. but El Nido has complimentary access to the beach. 😊
