Garen and Kristen's lakefront wedding was as near a perfect wedding day as I think you can get. The energy was right, the vows made Garen cry lol, and the sunset was exceptional! We had our fingers crossed during the cloudy day and went into the evening with a mind-blowing golden hour that left the couple (and me and their photographer Allie) nearly speechless.
Garen and I have known each other for quite some time, and our parents were buddies back in the 80s during college! I really felt honored to get the privilege of documenting their wedding day after seeing Garen's relationship with Kristen grow over the past several years. It's such a treat as a filmmaker to have a strong personal connection with a couple to really aide in telling their love story, and I'm grateful for Garen and Kristen that brought me along for a FOR REAL unforgettable ride for their wedding day.
