I don't remember a lot of TV and movies from the time firsthand, since they didn't really become interests of mine until the mid-80s, and I was four in 1982. Mostly I remember going to Showbiz Pizza (later Chuck E Cheese) and Six Flags, and I had an ET wading pool. I was also introduced to computers, taking a computer course for little children at a local library. I've had a great love for computers since then. ^_^

When I saw E.T. it was part of a double feature at the movie as an early release. I cant remember which movie I actually went to see, but E.T. was the second movie.

I was 21, my best friend was killed in a single car crash, he was drinking, I left that small town in Louisiana and moved to Houston and never looked back

I Graduated Grade School moved onto High School,I QUIT School for about 10 years I worked in fast food & a grocery store & other jobs,all while doing my arts/Music Painting,Comic Strip,More & then worked on my G.E.D. (Got IT!) & I worked at other jobs & in 2018 I will be running for Senator because I have lots of genius ideas for America & my State & I am a GREAT problem solver.

19 and what a year

Out of the US all of 1982. It looks like I didn't miss much, if anything important.

7 years old and moved back to Canada from (West Germany). Dad was Army and life as an Army near was great. I remember having a sweet sweet E.T Phone Home shirt. Was jealous cuz my friend got a Survivor cassette for her bday and Eye of the Tiger was my fave song. The 80's were the best.

Then there was Atari, Joan Jett and the blackhearts, Tony Basil, pool halls and arcades, girls, weed, dances, etc... Movies I thought Porkys was funny at the time. I was 9 years old. While most people were obsessed with the world's cup - the last time my country played a Soccer's world cup - I was thrilled by the Falklands War. I supported the British, whereas my countrymen Peruvians sided by heart with the Argies. I remain pro British and anglophile today
