Such a simple yet powerful homily/wake up call! “We” all know the door will close yet we so willingly choose to believe it will not close until we are ready! I fear God because I don’t know if he will know me. Such a frightening thought.

People seem happy to think that they’re going to Heaven and content with doing the bare minimum to maintain a state of grace but not much else. However, those who truly love God know that it is better to do the Will of God on Earth (with all its suffering) than it is to just die in a state of grace hoping to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The suffering NOW will make the entrance much more sweet.

Thank you for having the courage to teach the truth! If only more in the church would speak the truth. I’m not sure if many know or will acknowledge the truth anymore. Pilate asked the LORD “What is truth?” Have we regressed to an understanding of reality that existed in the pre-Christian era?

Where is this broad and pleasant way that leads to Destruction ? All around me, I see millions of people (many permanently damaged by broken family backgrounds) tormented by financial insecurity, anxiety, terror of the future, gloom, near-despair.

Ralph, for your message to be taken seriously, you must also talk specifically what happens to people who reject the Gospel and the baptized who die in sin. It is only when people are warned about hell, that they will take note. You see, in my lifetime (@77yrs), I have never heard a single bishop of our Catholic Church preach the Gospel as a life and death issue, even though the martyrs died terrible deaths for it because there is no other way to be saved. I mean, is that not what St Peter said to devout Jews in Jerusalem, warning them of the fatal consequences if they did not accept the Gospel and thus many came to believe in Jesus? >>>

Ralph, what about those who are on the wrong side as in Rev 22:14 . I have read one transaction that says those who are afraid to tell the truth are called "cowards".

There is One Way and narrow is The Way Who is Jesus Christ, The Way to know AND to LIVE His Commandments. To be filled with the Holy Spirit we walk daily with Him Who dwells IN us, and Christ KNOWS US and we know Him! But wide is the way to destruction and there are countless paths of the world on that wide way, to follow the world to all the temptations and deceptions of destruction.

Ralph I gew up a catholic . I played my guitar at folk masses in the 60s. I was an altar boy I attended Catholic School. I was involved in the Catholic Charmstic renewal . I never hsd assurance of my salvation till I was in the air force I read The book the cross and the Switch blade by David Wilkerson. I was on my hands and knees seeking forgivness for my sins. I had a new relationship with Jesus. I was born again that day and I knew I was forgiven for all my sins I had power to live for him. Jesus came to forgive us love us and take us to heaven when we die. My focus is on pleasing Jesus. Yes we cannot affirm people in their sins. God tells us what is right and wrong . God does not love sin. Love cannot rejoice in wrong doing. We cannot attend gay weddings. We do have to judge what Christians do and say as Paul says. Telling people the truth in love is love . I read most of your books. I appreciate you and your ministry . You always stand with the truth and Jesus. As long as we repent of sin and trust in rely on adere to and believe in Jesus with our whole heart we are guaranteed our home in heaven. Salvation is wrapped up in Jesus alone. He loves us. Any one who calls on the Name of Jesus will be saved. Sex is between a man and woman in marriage alone. Everything else is sin. God made us male and female . There is no fluid gender. We are all born sinners and we all need Jesus. He came to set us free from the wages of sin which is death. Run from sin and pursue holiness. Be filled with his spirit. I have come to believe in a what is called the rapture of the church. 1 Cor 4:16. Its called the catching away of the believers to be with the lord in the air. Rev 3:10 says Jesus ti the overcomers the believers he will keep us from the hour of testing coming upon the whole world . I am looking up for Jesus. Thanks Ralph.

Even their hedonism is desperate. Millions of people have been permanently wounded by broken family backgrounds. May I suggest that Religious People are living in an Ivory Tower, cut off from the reality endured by the general population ?

Why can’t we hear clear teaching leading to salvation from the pulpit (or from the Vatican)? All we get is confusion and word salad trying to justify blessing sin. Maybe the Byzantine Eastern Catholic Churches are the way to go. The Ukranian Greek Catholic Church came out and said “NO” to Fiducia Supplicans. African and Polish bishops are standing strong against this heresy also.
