About Whey
Whey was just a boy when, at one of his grandfather's shows, Jessi Colter left a microphone on a chair backstage after performing "Storms Never Last". Young Whey picked up the microphone and pranced out onto the stage and began singing "Mamma's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys." Whey's grandpa Waylon shouted out: "Hey hold up there Hoss...wait for me!" Waylon went to pickin' and when the song was finished, the crowd went nuts. It was on that day that Whey fell in love with music and as they say... the rest is history.

To get Nashville and County back to its roots. It will take Over throwing the Nashville Maifia. Very Heart Felt the song and video . Now I will say thing. Waylons MA MA is a SHIPLEY and their. Is A SHIPLEY THAT is a singer song writer in Dixon . Who is Kin to Waylon Mom Mom . Would be nice to see them team up together .

I seem Waylon when i was 18..AMAZING..what i didn't know is he died the same day as my father 3 years after my Vietnam Veteran Father.. Robert... and uncle Robert 14 years later....

WOW!!! Have always been a Waylon fan, he always made you feel his music, the way true country music should be. I'm glad you found you own style, but kept the roots. You do what Waylon always did, you feel the music. Just today found you on KZfaq and like a couple of other have said, where have they been hiding you. Great song, great music, great voice. I’m 46 and that ain’t too old. When I was eight my Dad used to take me to work with him on the weekends after he worked all week workin fence lines installing chain link mostly. We made a deal , he hated my music, we decided to rotate music. I got to listen to my music for an hour and then he got to listen his for an hour. He let me go first. Although had taken me to work on and of for years after that I never played another hour of my music after that first hour. Over my life Ives worked hundreds of hours with your dads songs in my ears and if he never told you I’m sure he’s proud of you. You have a new fan here , thank you
