I don't know how you can believe AOS could be removed. This is not even close to what WHFB is lmao. Old World is just a funny way to play the game as Horus Heresy is to 40k.

I think GW just want to separate AoS and The Old World. Last step was to make new Cities of Sigmar. I think from now on there will be no miniature what belongs to both systems. Something what they did with Heresy and 40k.

I just learned that there are people who hate AOS, why? I'm so confused as to what the point is, we're all the same fans just over different universes? It's not hard to just let people like things?

I love that GW has figured out how to trap their worst fans in The Old World and Horus Heresy so normal people can play the mainstream Warhammer games in peace.

It is an interesting thought experiment ... it is also totally unrealistic to expect/fear that GW will be removing those units from AoS. Not saying that there couldn't be SOME old kits removed when AoS 4.0 releases but you can expect 90% of AoS to be unaffected

I'm excited for Old World, but it'll probably just be a passing fancy like Mordheim. Still have all my old minis so me and the boys are very happy.

Wow some anger here. The game systems and styles are totally different. Rank and flank is enjoyed by many and now the old world brings back that style of play. Warhammer fantasy had a wonderful background and lore and many people enjoyed that world. People love total war which is based in the old world.

I know the video is 2 weeks old, but even at that point we already knew like you said, we'r getting 9 new Flesh eater courts kits, but at the release of the video, this hold true for the store sure. Also, GW will forsure drop those stuff that doesn't really belong to AoS setting as much to ToW, but I don't see them dropping core models that they'v expanded upon to whole ranges. Also worth nothing here is that many of the End times models released for WHFB right before the end were made with AoS in mind too, as said from former employies. In my opinion, GW is just beeing childlike with internal fued between different design studios within the company, and wanting to seperate the games for no real good reason, it'd be easier if all the kids TOW team wants to use for TOW from AOS were just avaible, why limit sales, makes no sense. Also, skaven is getting a big rerelease for AoS this summer with 4th edition.

Completely unreasonable, AOS is the perfect gateway wargame and casual filter to keep the groggiest of games good and groggy, some people can stay in the gate

Retcon Age of Sigmar. The Fantasy world should never have been destroyed completely. Sure, change the world, but don't blow it up

Chaos dwarfes have never been in AoS and will likely never be. They died with the old world. From those kits that have a revamp like the Slaan or Kroak, those new sculpts are sized and based for AoS, not for FB. Flesh eater courts got a healthy number of new models now, not sure if enough to never use something old. As for Cities of Sigmar the new models make the old ones look disproportionately dated.

With luck aos with it's poor aesthetics and lore will fade away

No need for AoS to have any WHFB factions. AoS can instead have the flibble dibbles and kargit-snats, they're cats with scythes for whiskers and dragons that walk on their heads, thus blending seemlessly with the stupid stuff that belongs in AoS.
