Love how Kristoph wins by convincing everyone he is the most evil

Ga'ran was the most evil. Her laws killed so many people and her lies caused a civil war, which killed even more people. All because she wanted to be queen. Matt Engarde was a textbook villian, and Dahlia only got the way she did because of her parents. Gavin wasn't much different than von Karma, he just got a lot more people involved, which caused more trouble.
@theRealSnake616 ай бұрын
To be honest I couldn't decide who the winner would be so I had 2 choices. Either make Ga'ran win and Kristoph break down and end the vid there, or make Kristoph win. Eventually I thought of Ga'ran cheating with her book so I went with that I guess...🙂

When you think about it,garan is the real main villain of the entire apollo trilogy if she didnt kill jove justice then thalassa would not have returned to troupe gramarye,which means that she would not have been shot,which means that magnifi wouldnt kill himself Which means that kristoph would have never been replaced by phoenix Which means that he wouldnt be disbarred and probably would have defended simon in court

I love Reus and hate him so much. As Retinz he comes off as a scumbag out to make a quick buck but he's like his theme, it spirals more and more the longer it goes on. He becomes deeper and more vile, bullying a teenage girl repeatedly to get back at a dead man whose reputation had been in shambles for years. There is also the implication that this plan had been in the work for years. He had met Mistree and made him he apprentice two years prior, meaning he had planned this originally on Valant who tried to revive the trope two years prior in the original Apollo Justice. He is the one that set up the stage plays production, meaning he had kept the plan in his back pocket for two years as a just in case. The biggest thing is that he is really talented and is a direct challenge to everything Trucy stands for. For all his faults, Magnifi loved magic and wanted it to flourish, a joy for all to see. Trucy carried that on, taking the family creed and wanting everyone to be happy. Reus simply sees magic as a means to an end, something to stroke his ego, and then, something to use for revenge. Trucy never saw it coming because she never could have imagined that someone could use magic that way. And in the end he was happy, cause he felt like he had finally pulled one over on Magnifi. I think the thing that makes him so great though is that he walks that tightrope of being hated and cool, and evil without crossing the line into cartoon villainy. Ga'an is objectively more evil, but in that star wars kind of way were it is so over the top that I don't really take her seriously. Retinz though kept everything personal. Even when he was acting cartoonishly evil as a producer he grounded it with a genuine hate for Trucy's very existence. He makes me feel like he could be real.
@theRealSnake615 ай бұрын
The best part is that he was actually defeated by someone related to Trucy (Her brother Apollo) and he doesn't even know it, I also like to think that he was somehow responsible for the accident where Thalassa was shot one way or another...
@orpheusthepoet31495 ай бұрын
@@theRealSnake61 I think it's an interesting idea but I could take it or leave it. Reus wouldn't have been involved with the trope by then, seeing as there were no photos of him. I'd also point out that AJ:AA implies the reason as being an accident caused due to Zak and Valant trying to make their quick draw more dangerous in an attempt to keep it fresh. I'm less of a fan of every bad thing that has happened to the troup being Retinz's fault since the point of those accidents was to show that the rot of trope Gramery extended to just about everyone. It's what makes Trucy's revival so hopeful, a clean slate, which to barrow a phase, has no tricks, no gimmicks, just clean magic. If the quick draw was Retinz fault you make the magic trope less complex to add another layer when Retinz doesn't really need it.
@theRealSnake615 ай бұрын
@@orpheusthepoet3149 I remember Trucy saying that the accident happened because Thalassa made a mistake, also the accident happened 1 year after Retinz was fired from the troupe so he probably tried to take revenge on Magnifi by potentially killing his daughter somehow but yeah

I like Kristoph because of how well he fits with the story of Apollo Justice. Him being someone who knows the flaws of the AA legal system and knowing how to work around it for his benefit was honestly cool to see. And he's introduced as the Mia Fey style mentor character at the start, too. I like Aristotle because of how all in the Devs went on his design. Dude looks liks a Greek statue came to life. That and is second design with the mohawk goes hard, ngl. Two of my favorites, personally.

About the "killing a man holding a baby" thing... There's a video on KZfaq by Donut Operator discussing criminals who use babies and toddlers as shields to make the cops hesitate. And, yes, it shows the cops having to take the shot. While the criminal holds a baby. Then the criminal ragdolls, dropping the baby. Kristoph can be all "professionals have standards" as he wants, but they both tried to kill literal children.

Kristoph, Phantom, and Ga'ran for obvious reasons should be near the top. Kristoph for helping cause the Dark Age of Law to stroke his own ego, ruining Phoenix's career out of pure spite, and attempting to kill Vera, who was only 12 at the time of the attempt. Phantom for blowing up a courtroom, endangering hundreds of innocents in the process, just to escape, murdering and violently mutilating Bobby Fullbright, and being the textbook definition of a psychopath. It doesn't matter if it was his job, he chose to be apart of the terrorist organization and he clearly finds sadistic joy in it. And the fact he did everything they told him to do, no matter how horrendous, shows that he has no moral codes. And Ga'ran for creating the Defense Culpability Act which is basically genocide. I might be biased, but I decide to put Kristoph at the top. I think it should be 6: Means 5: Retinz (I have no idea what the fuck he's doing here, and especially so high.) 4: Inga 3: Phantom (Seriously, why was he so low? Lower than Retinz somehow too.) 2: Ga'ran 1: Kristoph Edit: Also, yes Phantom has an impact. He's the reason Simon's in jail in the first place. Edit 2: I would suggest doing TGAA in the future, but really only Jezaille Brett and Mael Stronghart can go anywhere near the top. Along with MAYBE Magnus McGilded. Edit 3: I also think Kristoph is pettier than Retinz. He ruined Phoenix's career just because Zak Gramarye chose Phoenix as his attorney instead of Kristoph. He also killed Zak for that.
@theRealSnake615 ай бұрын
Retinz is more of a Redd White type of antagonist in my opinion, he literally had control of the media and can do anything. He almost ruined the entire Wright Anything Agency just because they were defending Trucy (he probably ruined other people before but we don't know), and killed his own fan and aprentice just to get Trucy arrested. Phantom may have been too low I get that, but Retinz should be at least 5th place.
@xanderscookingschool14975 ай бұрын
@theRealSnake61 Fair enough. He does seem worse than Means at least. But I will say for an Ace Attorney abuser, Retinz hasn't caused a lot of damage. For example: Matt Engarde drove his ex to suicide, Dahlia killed several people and convinced Terry to commit suicide, and Manfred von Karma gaslighted Miles into thinking he killed his father and gave him nightmares about it for 15 years. While meanwhile, Retinz failed to mentally break a 17 year old girl.

Seriously I didn't like Ga'ran at all. She tried to kill her sister, framed Dhurke and later killed Inga and convinced her sister to once again blame the innocent Dhurke. Given it was again about spiritual powers, two sisters that fight and make their husbands' lifes miserable because of their feud... it's just the Fey Clan but recycled. And seriously, just casually changing laws during a trial just because you're about to be cornered isn't even impressive, it's some Mary Sue thing. Considering how Souta Sarushiro, Manfred von Karma, Damon Gant, Kristoph Gavin or even Hart Vortex operated, they all proved to be masterminds that exploited the flaws in the Japanese (or English in Vortex' case) law system. Compared to that we got as the final villain a recycled Morgan Fey with the privileges of a dictator.
