Neon Genesis Evangelion opening was so popular at my school that they played it in my band during free time. The best part was, when I asked them if they knew where it was from, they had no idea it was from an anime. It was great.

@@oh2075 Well sometimes, it's hard to get into an anime ! I mean, my personal favorite anime is Steins;Gate. I NEVER would've watched it almost 10 years ago if a friend didn't tell me to continue watching ! And only one person that I've recommended it to went past episode 5... (PS: it's now one of their favorite anime as well). So you know... It's not always easy ! 😄 Maybe try watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood again in a few months, or even a few years! Maybe you'll enjoy it then ! 👍

One of the most underrated anime and anime opening is noragami. This anime has an amazing opening and an amazing story and concept. Edited this after I wrote this comment. I watched shinsekai yori and I have to say one of the best anime I have ever watched in my whole life sooo soo good. Thank you anime man for suggesting this anime in the video

Soundtrack wise (openings and endings included), two very different styles, my favourites are Eureka Seven and Samurai Champloo. FMAB all openings and endings are good but maybe that includes nostalgia on my part. There is lots of good ones out there.

that moment when you realize that there wasn't any jojo, naruto, or any LiSA ops. and fairy tail and one piece, also daddy daddy do and love dramatic wasn't there so a. ykyk you just need a bit of mayazuki and kana-boon. also mainstream anime ops are not the best but there are legendary ones like Hikaru Nara and Cruel Angel's Thesis which was actually included. I'd also want Fukashigi No Carte since it's actually pretty good.

great vid, if they do any more of these collabs it would be if they did one that is based on songs from Anime that are music focus or inspired such as the idols animes, anonymous noise, kids on the slope, beck, NANA, Given K_ on and and any animes from similar genres. Some of faves our the Wallflower opening and ending songs, Naruto's fighting dreamers, Fruits basket and Black butlers opening theme song

Japanese people aren't afraid of dissonant sounds I noticed, so "bad" singing and pitchy sounds are more common. Weirdly I think it's a cultural thing as some of the historic court music has a lot of dissonant sounds.

@@haroldchister9893 I agree. I think their style of singing is just different and their accents make it different to us too. As well as some of them may just be trying to have fun and play around with the song like in “Tell Me Why” by PenPals. And funny thing is, I learned about this sort of style of singing from my world music class and we touched on Chinese opera(not the same thing of course but within the realm). And in my opinion, the singing was bad but to them it’s good. And I could tell my teacher recognized that when he said the singing may sound different but give a try. So generally, in western culture we just don’t see it as good. So in Joel’s defense, he used to less “awkward” sounding tones and styles.

Yes traditional Chinese and Japanese music in particular, utilised a lot of dissonance, and it translated into modern pop.
