The reason am going to return my SE2 is to get the SE2 LTE which is important to me for redundancy in the event of a fall/crash detection which is the main reason I finally bought an Apple Watch.

I was considering getting the SE2 as my first Apple Watch, but decided to get the non-cellular Nike Series 7 instead. Reasons included always on, dust resistance, non-plastic back and fast charging. (I didn’t need the 8’s extra features, and wanted the Nike.) I went into my local Apple Store thinking I'd be choosing the darker colour, but was unsure of the size. After trying out both colours/sizes, I surprised myself because I preferred the smaller Watch in the lighter colour. I think I made the right decision. The only time it leaves my wrist is during my “morning routine”.

LTE is important for people who do things like run, or exercise in general. It's much more comfortable without having a stainless steel brick in your pocket.

I got myself the ultra with cellular connected & loving it with the stainless Milanese band even though I came from a gps only series 7 & my partner got the series 8 cellular she had the series 6 cellular & my series 7 45mm band fits my ultra perfectly

I’m getting my girlfriend the cellular series 8. I told her to try to use the watch often more in public than she uses her phone as it could possibly help in case she feels uncomfortable in places or raves or where your around alot or ppl where you don’t want to pull out your phone. & where she feels like someone’s following her she can discreetly call 911 or me. Others may see its not worth it, but if you’re a female I believe the cellular model is DEFINITELY worth it! 😀

Love that you said you don't think 40mm is only for women. I also like 40mm more than 44mm because of my wrist size. The only reason I'm not too fond of ultra watch is bcoz of its size; otherwise, it's a beast in itself.

A few years ago i would have chose the SE 2 cuz it has all the features i needed. But, ever since the pandemic the series 8 seem very appealing with its more health sensor, cause im at that point where i should keep an eye more at my health even when exercising making sure my heart and oxygen percentage are okay. Too bad they dont have solar charge, cuz for a watch that promote going to sleep with it, it cant even last a full 24 hours 😅

I’m upgrading from my Apple Watch Series 7 45mm aluminium to the Apple Watch ultra because of the personal siren alarm, and the stronger sapphire crystal display and amazing battery life

@@KingTechHD not really similar on the design but software and hardware its not really a big deal. I picked up a 7 45mm one cause the ultra is just to big for me and i dont need the extra protection as i keep mine in a case anyway

It’s short compared to almost any watch, especially Samsung even from years ago. I got 3 days from the S3. Wish I could get that from Apple

The only some what problem I have is with the Velcro it starts getting fuzzy if you keep peeling it off and sticking it on but that’s only visually physically there’s no problem

I’m considering purchasing an Stainless Steel 8, I have only ever owned the aluminum version. Is the weight difference very significant when wearing?

There is no point buying the stainless steel 8 because if you look at the difference between prices of the 8 and then the ultra it’s not much I got the ultra and it’s not to big that’s just what people say

I bought the stainless steel 8 series. The weight difference is not very significant. I wear the watch for the gym and also for jogging. I like it. The Ultra is not for me. I don‘t like the look of it and it was too big for me.
