April is here, and I'm not foolin when I tell you that there are some fantastic new LEGO sets hitting the shelves this month. Today, we'll embark on a journey to explore each of these exciting releases. Prepare to venture into the depths of the Dungeons, where dragons may lurk, in the newly themed Dungeons and Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale. Then, we'll take flight above the iconic Gotham City skyline with the awe-inspiring new Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City wall art set, and we'll even talk about some other sets for longer than most would consider necessary or entertaining.

I like castle sets, and especially sets that my kids and I can play with together. The D&D set looks great for playing and creating stories, finding features. I know very little about D&D, so the set design is selling itself to me. Not a day one purchase though, I’ll put it on my want list and maybe get it as a Christmas present. Also, we’re in East Texas, and allergies are no joke. I think the pollen is starting to die down a little, but it’s been a rough couple of months.

The displacer beast, the feline creature, is *not* based on the thanators from Avatar! If anything, it’s the other way around: thanators (2009) may be based on displacer beasts (1975). I say ‘may’ because the displacer beast is itself based on the coeurl created by A.E. von Vogt in 1939. It’s possible that thanators are based directly on coeurls.

Coeurls in Final Fantasy seem also to be based on van Vogt’s creature.

The D&D set hits all of my interests. D&D ✔️ Lego ✔️ castles ✔️ fantasy ✔️. It also hits my wallet ❌ so I'll have to save up and get it in a month or two.

I want the D&D set because its D&D, because its fantasy and somewhat of a castle build. I really wish it was closer to $300 but I know Hasbro has to get their extra large royalty license cut. Shame the printed book is separate as well. Seems like the exclusive Mimic chest is already gone as well, makes it an easy "maybe I'll pick it up if it goes on sale set for me".

Unfortunately my local store still had the gwp and I ended up buying a copy. They also had the food truck gwp so I almost impulse bought a modular smfh... I didn't get it but im still debating on going back 🥴🙃

I’m not into D&D but I love Castle and Medieval Fantasy, I’m really wanting to get this set.

personally I didn't pick up the green Lamborghini because I already have the green Lamborghini Sian and the green ford mustang so the I'll probably pick up the orange simply for a different colour.

I still need to get Rivendell. This was my second day 1 buy ever. /edit technically my first. I think I bought the eiffel tower later in the week but still got the Galileo gwp so it felt like day 1 to me.

Dream zzz set s. mini fig s I trying to get them all. I might build z blob or the tree house one. But most the other dream zzz set. Will be extra parts to build my own dream zzz builds or builds 😊 great vid. Josh. Hope you. Filling... better asap. .

Awww daddy but I whant the. Batman. Set 😅😊..na nar nar. Batman. Not me it's a no from me. But it is a lovley build. Josh is not a shoe eater ...what about a ? shoey drink one. .F1 driver dan recardo started it. It s pouring beer or shampain into your shoe and. Drinking it. Yum.😅😮 But car freaks in Australia try do it.
