This is my fourth and final cricket match of my first tour to India. I used my GoPro to document my week playing for the Cape Town Jackals in a Last Man Stands tournament which took place in Chandigarh. The highlight of this match was facing a former Australian test bowler. Who was it?

I played today, very very tight game, we set a low score of just 90-ish, we still won after getting the other team bowled out for 50. Our coaches strategy was… questionable… if you watch IPL now we all know that slower balls are BETTER for top and lower batsmen, but he was making our fastest bowler bowl the fastest he can (mind you we play on very bad grounds but when he bowls the ball zooms across the grass). Captain was livid after the decision, someone else we be promoted next week. (Im hoping it’s me 🙏). He has a very good reason considering the decisions. Very poor decision making from our coach. He just joined the academy and has yet to prove that he will help us in winning. I hit a six and a four but then got caught after it surprisingly bounced up on me and it went straight up 😔. 1.8 economy though. You should be the full time keeper, your a great energy man AND you collect the ball with ease.(I think the best part of your game is your bowling 😂😂). Too bad about your batting, still a joy to watch even though it was short. I can see that your team can and will be a good team, you just need a little more time to build that team chemistry. Can’t wait to see if you go to another country. Better luck next time/tournament/league! 🍀

Hey, the one thing i struggle with is when to go for quick singles or doubles and the decision making when doing so, this has happened nostly in indoor cricket however making these decisions are just troubling for me, any advice anyone?

Be assertive in your calling and commit to the run if you chose to go for it... 9 times out of ten you get in if you commit straight away 👌
