The brand new Nike Mercurial Superfly 8 (and vapor 14) elite blueprint is here. There is no major differences here just a graphics update mainly. However today I want to dive into how things like graphics updates and different colourways can actually affect the performance of your boots.
Here something as simple as changing the style of the swoosh and moving it can have a really positive impact on the boots. Moving a solid toe swoosh to a more transparent side swoosh, simple detail, makes all the difference.

I will say that my Nike By You (NIKEiD) Vapor 15s feel different than the regular colorways. The upper on the NBY feels thicker and rougher as if it was made by adding a layer of paint to the boots.

I'd assume that's not how they were made but I wouldn't doubt that they feel different. I'll have to check my vapor 14 NBY and see if they feel different to my retail pair.

Hey James, we miss your regular frequent content but I know it takes a lot of time, effort, and energy to take care of the little wizard. Good luck mate 😊 Please, I need your help picking my next pair of boots. I'm looking for something that is tight fitting with an AG soleplate. I'm buying from Pro Direct and shipping to Lebanon so unfortunately the Mercs and all Nike boots are restricted for only UK and EU. I'm most likely deciding between the X Ghosted+ AG Superspectral pack and the Speedflow.1 AG Sapphire pack. (And keeping the Copa Sense+ as a third option although it's FG but at least it's not as aggressive as the X line). - Ghosted+: I like the tight sculpted fit on the midfoot but I'm afraid that it might have a wider forefoot as it looks on the videos and pics. What do you think of the fit in the forefoot and toe-box area, please? - Speedflow: I'm confused about the sizing as your recommended 1/2 down. The opinions on Internet are really split concerning this point. Now that it's been few months after the release, do you still think it's a definitely 1/2 size down boot? - Copa sense: I'm afraid that the soleplate is too thick, stiff, and heavy for such a soft upper and also afraid about durability. What do you think? Sorry for the long comment. But I really really need your help as I can't try any of the boots before buying them. I am also open for any other suggestions by you. Will be waiting to hearing back from you. It's been 6 days that I am trying to decide hhhh

hey james, been trying to decide for the best cleats but cant, what do you think: a football boot for AG surfaces, wide fitting ( i hate narrow boots), around 100 pounds, and most importantly comfort. thanks - your videos are really helpful and mean a lot to us newbies in football boot world :)

I like the teal, but not the design. There is definitely some truth that some colourways make a difference.

Maybe not quite enough to need to buy one colourway over another but there are differences, might even be what factory a colourway is made in! Maybe not enough of a difference to justify a whole video 😂. But interesting none the less.

Big fan wizard I just got my solista 200s In and love them I am loyal and will only use lotto going forward because of the stud pattern being the best for my foot( and its several issues) I have never got a 1 piece boot I guess out of fear....which lotto should I get between the solista iii or iv? Or is there not too big a difference between the 2

I've been looking to upgrade from my mercurial vapor 13 elite. There's many great option but out there now being, vapor 14, speedflow.1, puma 1.4 and the tiempo. I've never worn leather along with I'm a fast agile player, winger, Cam, and striker. The puma are now the lightest boot now and the adidas speedflow.1 have the amazing carbon tech plate. Which boot would you say is the best

i would say adidas x speedflow.1 personally. I have them and they r really good. The puma ultras (for me) have poor lockdown in the heal and I can feel my head slipping.

Hey, Great video I am really interested in these boots in this colorway. On the Soft-Ground version of these boots, are the metal studs removeable? I am looking for a top pair of football boots which can be adjusted to fit the conditions of the pitch I am playing on. Primarily looking for boots with removeable metal studs which can be replaced with plastic ones for Firm-ground pitch's, any recommendation's?

The standard SG variation of these doesn't have removable studs. The SG Pro model does. There aren't many places that sell that variation though

I have a question, I hope someone can answer me, is that I want to buy a Nike mercurial superfly 8 elite FG, but on eBay there is only size 11, and I am 10.5 size, is there much difference? Will it be too big for me? I was thinking of using thick sock?
