Update: $1886.71 first full week. I got my schedule messed up so I just experimented and I skipped most of Sunday. I'm fairly confident I'll hit 2k this week, but who knows. Either way, I'm enjoying it.

Let me tell you this. I am in Atlanta too. Been driving since October 2016. It used to be fairly easy to make 2k. In fact I made sometimes more even before Cori. But now it is hard unless you drive 12 to 13 hours for 7 days. The reason it’s hard now is because Uber has pretty much reduced Quest promotions and surges to nothing on top of cutting pay rate by 20%. In the past it was possible to make 500 to 700 just in promotions. This week in Atlanta Quest for the week is $20 for 60 trips and $50 for 90 trips. It used to 175 to 250 just from Monday to Thursday. And the week end Quest used to go up to $445. This week end it’s only 125 for 90 trips. Yes you still can make 2k but you gonna have to endure pain and high stress. And it will come a time when your body will ask you to choose between cash or your health. It’s not realistic to make 2k consistently every week under the current Upfront pay model. The upfront model rewards those brave enough to drive 12 to 13 hours almost without taking a break 7 days a week.

I'm making $12 to $15 an hour before all vehicle related expenses in DFW. Last year, I was making $25 to $30 an hour. Plus $1 + per mile including pickup is just as important as pay per hour. If you are making less than $1 per mile including pickup,then you're just going to wear out your vehicle much h faster.

That's the reality of it too. You can get deactivated for not doing anything wrong. The pay in my market is ok if it's long distance but short trips are trashy 5.00 rides.

I’m in Uptown Dallas, and I’ve made 2 racks a week, I have a Polestar2 electric car and I get lots of Reservations Frm 3am to abt 8am every day BACK TO BACK and to DFW airport and Dallas Love Field Airport. Then again in the evening hours 5 hours per day. And I take longer trips because they are wayyyyy more plus I always get tips ALWAYS. Plus, having a electric car, and living uptown/down people ALWAYS request electric cars and comfort cars which the trips are higher. And my car is always clean, inside and out the people are mostly coming and going from business trips so it works for me. SO I STRONGLY DISAGREE abt DFW not making money. You have to take it serious if you want REAL money.

I’ll take any advice I can about my market (DFW) if anybody wants to leave any. Itake back my my last comment now that 2 people in my market say they been making good money. Also… I just watched a dude doing Uber and Lyft for the day. An his excuse was that you have to sit in the car all day and don’t get to get out like DoorDash. There’s no one like Ronnie out here promoting hustle and no excuses. Keep doing what you do and love what you’re doing on your other channel!
