It hurts seeing those sweet little creatures crowded in those small dirty cages in pics of India 🇮🇳🇮🇳 (Yes, the conditions are very much similar here to the pics shown particularly because of lack of awareness and a proper law implementation ) I'm a budgie owner (I've two) and I never force them into their cage. They're free to roam and fly around the house on their will.

Here in my country , Japan, I believe so many people become looking happy with smile when they see budgies, but I'm not quite sure how many of us have them as members of the family then. As of myself, I have a 3-month-young budgie, the 11th one, now the baby has begun showing a definite sign of "boy" day by day☺️ "He" will be speaking a lot and certainly be noisy...um...lively and merry😉

Hi Alen! I have a question. Why did my newborn baby budgie die? It also had some yellowish hue on its belly area. I am very confused. 3 babies died like this. The parents are adult and able to breed. The babies come out good but then die. it is their first time being parents tho. Do you think it has something to do with them being inexperienced? Also, I moved one of this female's eggs to another female's nest that is experienced. will it cause any problems?

Oregon is where I am living now, I was retired and bored. Now I am a budgie owner who's bird hates him. Just kidding, Blue is training me to be un- offensive human who respects bird rights and feeds her all kinds different tasty things. Only thing that's a problem is human fingers. Arms, faces, legs are all ok, but fingers are scary (for now he,he,he).😊

In turkey almost any bird is exclusively cage pet except for pigeons and seagulls on roof tops. I wish budgies had same freedom. In popularity wise canaries and goldfinches would win and budgies would be close third alongside with doves
