they aren’t just “shy type”. It’s mostly the influence that the USSR left here, it’s only been 29 years since Latvia regained it’s independence. It will go away, some time just has to pass.

I love Latvia from Turkey. I've been there for Erasmus for 5 months. I really like Riga, Kuldiga, Venspils, Sigulda also Latvian people are very kind and helpful. (except for the autoosta employees 😄)

Majority of the people answered negative when they were asked if they dislike any country, which really amazed me tbh. I learnt that we all have prejudices, but that shouldn't be considered as a dislike for that particular country 🙏🙏 thank you brother for sharing this.

I'm from UK and have Latvian friends in Latvia and England, I love Latvia and Latvian people. It's not always easy to make friends with them but when you do, you know it is real (no BS or cheap fake smiles.) That is why I have been visiting Latvia for 20 years and I have an apartment there!
