Hey now i am telling you the truth Nowadays everything is going on online . Therefore i use my phone a lot which have ips lcd . Ips lcd is worst it causes more eye strain i can't even attend my online classes properly. Amoled may cause flickering but produces less blue light as mentioned in the video.Flickering is not a big issue but producing blue light is . Amoled is better please trust me

Both AMOLED & SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY produces more saturated colours. They looks punchy in colour. This is enjoyable for those who do binge watching. But, those who are productive and do graphics designing, photo editing, video editing, colour grading etc., they prefer IPS display. Because, it is standard & produces neutral colour.

Majority of the comments say IPS is better that AMOLED. But I did notice something. In iphn 11 the screen is glaring in dark if you slightly rotate towards left and right you may feel the glaring. But this is not the case with Samsung amoled especially during dark. Did anyone notice the same ? Any idea how to reduce the strain on iphone lcd screen ? On the color reproduction part IPS does better though.

Can someone help me? I used only ips screen phones but some of them (iphone 11, Xr, Motorola G 5g plus) when used I had eye dryness, and pain in my eye. I tried all screen setting but doesnt help. With Motorola G9 plus, Nokia x20, and Xiaomi mi a2 lite I can use these hours with no problem, very pleasant for my eyes. What can be the problem?

@@rohithkumar.s6438 In dark mode, your pupil needs to expand to let in more light. Remember, the eye is made up of muscles. The more strain you put on it trying to read something, the more it’ll get worn out. If you are not comfortable reading light text on a dark background, don’t force it.

@@upenderbazad6355 I can tell you that AMOLED completely F-ed up my eyes! Had zero problem before! I noticed it 2-3 months after I upgraded my phone! Since than I am living on eyedrops, anti inflammatories, and used corticosteroid eyedrops as well.

@Behind the veil Even dc dimming is not completely implimented on oled, because the display will look like shit, with extremely bad color accuracy. Moreover color accuracy get worse with usage on oled. And the display loses its initial color config in less than 3 months. Moreover burn in and tinting is also an issue. When they try to avoid burn in, they increase flickering. So ips Lcd is still better in a lot of aspects compared to oled. In an year or two, Lcd black will be as good as oled back, due to advancement in quantum dot array as a backlight source for LCD.
