I goofed and forgot to add the motor info… 1) 79-Bike sotion motor. IPM encoder motor. High torque and good heat dissipation. Well praised in the aftermarket community. 2) Talaria MX4. IPM encoder motor. Capable of higher rpms without the worry of magnets separating or hall sensors failing in spm style motors. 3) Surron LBX. SPM motor that utilizes hall sensors. SPM motors are less durable, and also hall sensor issues have plagued surrons for years. Motor has longest history of testing. 4) E-Ride Pro SS. SPM motor. Hall sensors. Too new to know if it’s durable or will last long term.

Your tire change video has helped me. Got the Tusk ground wire front and rear and the Kenda trackmaster front and rear. But went with the Tusk front tire and the Kenda trackmaster tire rear. Yes like the Tusk front tire 70/100/19 looked more of a front tire with less aggressive knobs. The kenda trackmaster rear 70/100/19 measured just as wide as the Tusk GW rear tire 80/90/19. Using the stock wheels on all. The Tusk seemed to be on 18 inch wheels compared to the Kenda tire. Plus the Kenda TM rear tread was just as aggressive as Tusk GW rear. I have the Tusk rear and Kenda rear both mounted, maybe try the Tusk rear later.

Guna have to agree with ya brobro. Had a SurRon and loved it. Made upgrades and loved it even more. When the Talaria MX4 was coming out all the specs and how they promoted it, you couldn’t say no. So I sold the SurRon for a pretty penny funding my Talaria. I order first round and ya the upgrades then just wasn’t there yet but I honestly didn’t really care. Switch my bars, pegs, and sum supermotos to alternate street/dirt and I was more than happy. Talaria is flat out a solid dependable bike that rips. Ya I was alil bummed out that the E-ride Pro SS came with a 72v but honestly after hearing about the turbo button and the fact that it’s a exact replica of a SurRon I didn’t really give it much thought. I’m sure the E-Ride Pro is dope but the Talaria has its own style and is a beast stock. Not to mention the Talaria XXX which is a dope bike you should have included in this vid but I totally understand why you didn’t. As for the Talaria chain drive, bulletproof. SurRons belt drive sucked specifically for bigger dudes like myself that ride super hard. Was on my 4th belt when I sold my SurRon. All in all great review bro, you made all the right points maybe in the future when the new e-bikes have more upgrades you can do another vid and add the XXX. My buddy has it and it’s a dope affordable bike that I’d put over a few you listed. Keep killin it bro, stay up stay safe.

Thanks a lot for writing that brother. The xxx is a killer deal for what you get, and I’d pick it over a surron also. They just dropped the ball and fell behind. I felt the same way when the eride came out. Like damnit I could have had a 72v for near the same price. But once I learned about the turbo and controller stuff, I’m still solid on my choice of the mx4. Thanks again bro, stay safe yourself and have fun 🤙🏽

On our built pro SS we didn’t feel the need to upgrade the brakes just the rotors. 👍 You had some great points! @@freerfixedit At EbikeZilla , the cost of the MX-3 motor is more than the MX-4's. Why?...because the MX-3 motor can safely run 10,000 RPM where the MX4 can only do 8,000 rpm. KZfaqr Stingy Rogers discovered this fact. Oh...one more fact. Talaria recently released their 2nd generation controller for the 2025 Sting R. It's easily identified from the 1st generation Sting R controllers by the inscribed words reading STING R. The first generation Sting R controller inscribed on the face simply read TALARIA. The new 2025 Sting R controller has a 10% power gain over the 2023's R controller.

I agree with your conclusion for the factors you stated. This is a great vid for newcomers to the scene who are confused by all these similar looking bikes. I've seen a couple of E-Ride Pro SS owners in comment sections acting as if those are the clear cut best and I disagree for several reasons, but I welcome all quality bikes in this space and I'm sure the aftermarket will get there for the E-Riders. I'm currently trying to decide between the Torp TC500 and Nucular P24F for one of my Talarias... Then I'll need brakes, and now that the Sotion motor is out...ugh, 2024 might be an expensive year!

The only problem is, you are missing the best option for most people. The Talaria Triple X is the best for the average customer.
