Nice video, just a suggestion maybe turn down the levels on the music. What you said about turning with your whole body is true for surfing and onewheeling. Point your shoulder or lead hand in the direction you want to go when you are learning or want to make an aggressive turn or carve, the board will follow.

Yes, and professor has noted before about looking where you want to go, not where you don't want to go. Agreed about music. I want to hear what you have to say prof.

Interestingly, I find that if I turn with my back foot, I get tight pivot type turns, even though I stand toward the back of the board (contrary to the weight argument) - perhaps this is because the back foot pushes the tail slightly sideways as well, whereas the front foot does this less, because it's closer to the centre of the board and has less leverage.

Watched most of your vids. Is thar a drone following or do you have a camera person? Those rocky trails looked great and the footage was cool.

I see you wear running shoes to float with. Do you prefer running shoes over skate shoes? And why? Which type of shoe do you feel you can go longer with before you get foot fatigue?
@TheFloatLife
@TheFloatLife 3 жыл бұрын
I'll have to ask Jake, but I like high top skate shoes for some great board feel.

The running shoes are good for casual cruising, but for tricks and trail riding, anything where the board might smack into my feet, I use high top skate shoes for protection. Haven’t found any shoes that prevent foot fatigue, I recommend carving and moving your fee my around as much as possible, + stepping off your board at red lights to catch a break
