wtf are you talking about.... the 20% flip rule has nothing to do with sizing down. Flipping 20% rule applies to the total number of days you are allowed to "flip" days. Flipping refers to getting in and out of a trade very quickly just to record a day. You can do this total of 2 days out of the 10 trading days, apex allows this. You can flip with minis or micros, it doesnt matter.

@@RyanTradesFutures One thing you did not mention on Apex is the many discounts it offers. So a little misleading. 50K with 80$ is $37 a month or 90% will cost $17 on Apex. I know you are just comparing the basic cost of the accounts but Apex does offer a lot of discounts each month.

@tradedailywithseb I thought I did mention it, but my bad if it was a missed point. Apex has a BUNCH of account sizes. So I used 50k, 100k, and 150k just for comparison purposes. You can see me using discounted prices on my most recent videos. When I get back, I'll do an update for any May promos

Level 1 is going to just be the last quoted price...so basically the current Market Price. Level 2, you see multiple bids and asks and how many orders are at each price. Hope that clears it up for you

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but for BOTH Starter and Expert accounts there will not be any MONTHLY fees unless you want to pay $39/mo for Level 2 Data. The Starter does have a one-time activation fee of $149 once passed but Expert has this fee waived

Yeah also max withdrawal of 50%. I prefer MFFU Expert payout rules because they don't have a min trading days rule but harder profit to drawdown ratio

I do think Topstep is one of the best, but since I've been digging into prop firms, I've come to find that it's not "one size fits all". Every prop firm has pros and cons including Topstep. For example, I'm not too fond of their payout structure.

Would you elaborate on what you mean by them not allowing you to scalp? I don't think they have any rules on how long your trades need to be or how much you need to make for a valid trade. Just the typical No Automated Trading rules.

@@RyanTradesFutures They claimed that i was "micro-scalping" for 3-5 ticks with 3-5 sec durations.... That was their reasoning for denying my payout. During those times, i got in, then decided it was not a good entry, so i exited with a small profit...All decisions are made on the fly, as the candles are forming. Apparently, making these practical decisions prevents you from getting paid out by MFF.. They are wack... can't trade without making appropriate decisions. I cannot trade by reading proper price action with this company.

True, the House Always Wins. Don't forget regular brokers are also the House. 80% of traders lose in the Market even before prop firms. If you don't have the funds to go with a regular broker, prop firms let you risk more than the money you pay them. The trade-off is all the rules they put on you to make you lose easier. The most important thing is to work on yourself and develop your trading skills so you are consistently profitable without huge risks

⁠@@RyanTradesFuturesTrue. I think Apex is the better choice in Topstep, my funded futures, due to the great discounts that Apex offers like the 80% and 90% off promos they do. If you start to develop a good or decent trading strategy and you have good risk management and follow prop firm rules. It helps you as a trader become more disciplined in taking the green off the table early or when to hold your trades. Once you start building your capital from prop firms and fund your personal accounts. You will take trades on your personal account with better understanding of how market works and beat the house 70 to 90% off the time. I trade multiple different types of prop firms of futures and forex it has improved my trading due to experience and has shown me what kind of trader I am and what kind of person I am mentally. I have adjusted myself not only to be a great profitable trader but also made me into a better emotionally balanced individual. Through the 6 years of trading I have become a 80 to 90% win rate trader!
