The thing with Althaitham is, I feel like he'd never go out of his way to annoy anyone. He just wants to be left alone. If someone steps into his vicinity and annoys him he'd certainly not be pleasant to be around. Like, if you're stuck in an elevator with him and you're not the reason it's broken he'd just take out a book and wait for the lift to be fixed. I guess, if you expect him to fix it, it might be annoying that he's just not giving any f...ox about the situation. 🤔

Alternate title: Koomaxx discovers she dislikes Al Haitham Shenhe is not annoying, but I feel like hanging around her might be stressful because of her tendencies, so you feel like you constantly have to watch her so she doesn't do anything violent. I love Fischl, but she does get mildly annoying sometimes. Whenever her idle voice lines start playing I almost instinctively go "Fischl I love you, but stfu for a second"

As someone who likes Venti, I completely agree. Venti can get annoying after playing as him for a little bit, me and my friends who eventually got him ended up telling him a bunch to shut up cause we kept playing as him. We still love him though, even if he's annoying sometimes

Sucrose really went up in my opinion on the windbloom quest, her and collei watching clouds was some the most wholesome stuff ever. But I do find her nervous insecurities annoying, gives me Star Trek next gen vibes of that one engineer who's name I suddenly can't remember.

I find fischl's dialogue endearing, the 2nd gaa event really did a lot for her (and I hate that newer players will literally never experience it, and mona's/kazuha's/xinyan's quests too)

Kaveh and I are both overthinkers so if we were trapped in a lift together we would increase each others anxiety too much, where as al haitham only speaks when he needs to so I would get along with him better

I have to say sucrose can be sometimes weird, but her windbloom talk was super wholesome she really hit me in the heart 😢😢❤ so even though she is shy, I now understand why because she is just like me fr 😂

Al-Haitham is annoyingly smart, but Wanderer is annoying period. I feel like Al-Haitham would not annoy people on purpose (except Kaveh), he would like to be left alone. But if I was stuck in an elevator with Wanderer, I feel like he would not stop complaining and may destroy the elevator in the process.

I just realized most of my favorite characters can be pretty annoying at times: For reference, my team is Venti, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Diona

Definitely Dori for me. Not only is her idle with the song about mora annoying, but every voice line in her profile lines is either her obsessing over mora or trying to scam you. If I was stuck in an elevator with her, I know for sure I'd have to part with a huge amount of mora to buy some obscure thing she just happened to have to fix the elevator... which would be extremely suspicious.

It's easily Diona. There is no character (other then Paimon) who's dialogue I skip more frequently. I genuinely can't stand anything about her, and they just keep putting her in more things. Why the hell is she one of the FOUR Mondstadt characters that has a hangout event? Where is Amber or Kaeya? WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO TALK TO THE ANNOYING CAT GIRL CHILD!?

i like Dori's snarky, money grabber personality. and mixed with her backstory, she is a very underrated character. i hope we get a character story for her, because i dont think she ever got one edit: and can we talk about how good of a va you are for xiao AND fischl?

The thing with Nahida is that despite her playing 20 questions, she at least helps you and will go out of her way to help you. At least she isn't as bad at that as ZhongLi cuz she comes with answers or an attempt at finding said answer. ZhongLi would probably be the most annoying character in Genshin for me. Like he is suppose to have this wisdom, but he lacks any forethought and he gets away with a lot because the people in his country are 10000x more competent than him. Like Liyue never needed him cuz it would run into the ground if he even remotely took charge. lol

I honestly think Alhaitham just wouldnt give a fuck and ignore others existence until they actually go up and talk to him. Like he is literally using a sound blocking device to avoid talking to others 😂😂

My bar for most annoying character would be the one you switch off of when they start idling. So my vote goes to Zhongli "Osmanthis wine...". WE KNOW ZHONGLI! ENOUGH! Fischl Is a character whom I actually enjoy her idles, especially her when it's raining one.

Al-Haitham annoyed me more than any character, it's indeed his condescending attitude. I understand it's justified because he is quite smart, but damn.

I understand how Venti can come across as annoying. That being said it always makes me sad when people take his character at face value. He puts up this facade of a drunk, annoying bard that pulls out his lyre at the most innappropriate times but the few scenes where he drops the act, or takes of his mask, as he calls it in the Xiao trailer for Lantern Rite 3, you get some of the most beaitiful scenes in the whole game when combined with the music. His actual personality is that of a sad but dutiful archon that watches over his nation in secret. Would I want to be stuck in an elevator with him? Depends on whether he'd be willing to drop the act and actually get us out of the situation or not.

Honestly I wouldnt have mind if you picked Sucrose. Her involvement in the Windblume event was nice but I always remember at the back of my mind that she was basically forced to help random people in the first place while also gathering their DNA for herself. She's not the endearing kind of weird and her extreme shyness doesn't help.

I'm surprised the elevator quesiton is what made Koomaxx decide Fischl more. After all, she even rationalized that Oz could free them. "Oz take flight and release us from these mortal shackles!" Oz then would fly up the elevator shaft and secures assistance, as opposed to Sucrose who would probably try to collect samples of you for 'scientific research.' "Please breathe into this test tube for me. It's totally not creepy at all"

Dori is the only playable character I dislike tbh. At first I thought she was funny but her mora-obsessed thing got old pretty quick. There’s also how she like, actively admits to scamming people.

Tier list idea; Who would you rather go camping/traveling with. What would the characters be like at the grocery store: like health conscious; junk food fanatic; accidentally bought something they are allergic to; didn't have enough money to cover what they got; bought all the cheapest stuff to save money but ended up hating the items because they were too cheap....

Alhaitham might give the annoying know it all impression, but at least he's actually not the kind of person to talk down on you unless YOU make him annoyed/make obvious silly mistakes that everyone else knows it's obvious. Whereas wanderer just outright insults you for no real reason, which is more annoyingly obnoxious you ask me. I'd rather be in a broken elevator with someone who actually knows their stuff like alhaitham even though they give off arrogant impression. At least me being a not so smart person like him can depend on his knowledge. Unlike someone like wanderer. Also if I'd ever get insulted, I'd want to get insulted by someone who sees me objectively to help me improve my thinking skills. Sometimes ppl are just intellectually insecure man.

Idk if this really counts, but I did my own version, and I ended up with Dori 😅😅😅 My reasoning- She would potentially make an elevator scam just so she could get you to give her all of your Mora. A lot of the characters who people find annoying for me aren't that annoying, so that simply left characters that I wasn't the biggest fan of. They aren't necessarily characters that annoy me though either, which made the brackets harder Cx

Imagine if the final was Alhaitham vs Zhongli, that would be a battle for the ages.

Man Hu Tao would try to sell you coffins. She'll make you shit your pants and piss you off lmao. Yae would totally go, "Oh are you scared, little one? This would be interesting in a light novel." One would tease you for her own entertainment and one would tease you to try giving you a heart attack and boost her business. Both would actively try to piss you off while the other characters will unknowingly piss you off with their personalities. Do you hate being embarrased or having a PTSD more, pick your poison I guess.

I didn’t have much of an opinion on sucrose before this windblume considering I’d never seen her in any events up until now and it really made me love her character a lot. I like the way she took colleis situation and the way she bonded with her. Each time collei would struggle with socialising in some parts sucrose seemed to immediately notice and would help to change the subject to smth collei could contribute to. I don’t think her shyness is annoying or creepy at all 😭 I personally wouldn’t be able to be stuck in a room with ppl like kaeya, Lisa, yae etc bc they’re so intimidating to me like their tone and the way they speak would make me, being the same atmosphere uncomfortable.

I know this is just for fun and everything, but I’m extremely uncomfortable with three out of the top four having strong neurodivergent vibes, especially when there are plenty of characters who are actively greedy or malicious, rather than just “off.” Like, everyone has their preferences (I personally find super perky types exhausting and I know that isn’t rational) but the description “something about (Sucrose) really rubs me the wrong way” hit me in the gut. Because that’s what it’s like as an ND person. People react badly to you and they may not even know why. Even if you make a consistent effort not to be weird or abrasive, there’s always going to be that thing that doesn’t quite line up. People sense it, and they exclude you for it, and you can’t change it to fit in better because it’s just you. That hurts. I can’t explain it better than that. I know I’m taking this too seriously and it’s all off the cuff, but sometimes it’s the careless things that hurt the most. This isn’t intended as a callout, just a little flashing indicator light that something might be up. If no one ever says anything, how would anyone realize that what they’re doing could be hurtful? This blindsided me, so I felt like I had to say something. I’m sure by writing this I’m proving that I am in fact very annoying, but at least it’s for something I’m doing rather than just not seeming quite right.

Tbh Fischl was my least favorite character and I HATED her, until Golden Archepelego last lear. During which my opinion of her changed so greatly that I now have been gaining her since. She feels super misunderstood by a lot of players and I'm really sad to know that new players or ones that didn't play through that event will never be able to connect to her the same way

I love Venti's energy, especially their banter with Zhongli and him blending easily with Chongyun of all people in Lantern Rite. It changed my opinion of him. Surprised Paimon wasn't included here, definitely a contender against Fischl. Defo annoying most of the time. I have no problems with Alhaitham, believe it or not. Gets plus points for his Oscar acting vs. Azar. Sucrose..yeah her uwu hyper-introvert approach is definitely annoying. Got tamed a bit with her help of Collei, though.

I had scara very high up because I genuinely despise him despite recognising hes a good character. Especially with his simps, like i dont know why people find his bratty and antagonistic attitude attractive at all.

For Lisa vs. Amber. Amber's going to wake you up early, but it's because she wants you to get a head start on your day. No one likes waking up, but she gives you that push. Lisa, on the other hand, is going to sleep in. You'll be the one waking her up. You might be complaining because she's your ride into work and she's just like, "Work is an illusion. Sleep, cutie. Sleep." You know you gotta drag Lisa out of bed, which can be annoying.

i love fiscle because of how annoying she is. every time she is part of an event i think about how cring shes gunna be and she never dissapoints

as a person who skips all the dialogue because i play on my phone and it can sometimes overheat too much so i'd rather just speed through everything and then just watch a lore video later on it if needed, but even still fischl's dialogue can sometimes get on my nerves considering how long it takes her dialogues to be skippable.

Kaeya's flirting doesnt bother me cause a lot of the time it feels like he uses it as a defence when he wants to avoid talking about certain things. Imo opinion at anyway. His constant chatter when you stop for 2 seconds is really annoying though. I'd put him higher than Bennet just cause of the constant "I didn't know you were such a slacker" or "Let's get a move on, we're not frozen in place after all".

I actually really like Fischl and Sucrose. Sucrose is adorable and Fischl’s constant flamboyance makes her really entertaining to me. Wanderer, however, is a prick

People think it's Fischl only because they haven't spent time around someone like Alhaitham. That sort of shit GRATES on you and you start plotting all the ways you could get away with murder in your head to cope. Fischl could be annoying but she isn't actively hostile.

althaitam gives me irrational rage i am glad i am not alone. razors english voice actor makes me wanna throw hands. bennet also gives me anger issues. succ and ganyu also make me so annoyed i can't----- i think its always funny how diffrent people enjoy diffrent characters bc on the contrary i really enjoy 'annoying' characters like fischl, hutao, itto and scara bc i find myself having fun with their weirdness lol

I must say that I could not find any of the characters annoying until Alhaitham came. I know that characters like Venti or Fischl might have their quirks. But for some reason I find them all endearing. Besides, most of them have really sweet sides on them. I love Venti's caring side, that's why he's one of my favorite characters. Fischl's friendship with Mona is cute. Same with Amber and Colleil. It's adorable when Diona got excited over card games. And Sucrose is just such a sweetheart. Alhaitham on the other hand.... He could just sit there and breathe and I would throw the biggest tantrum. I don't even know what it is but his mere existence gets me really annoyed.

I personally hate all those characters that are BOTH physically and mentally childish I'm easily cringed and annoyed by small children both in real life and in games Small children are like mosquitoes that you can't even slap on and get rid of thus I hate Klee and Diona and also because of this I like Nahida quite much, because despite her young appearance she's SO sophisticated and godlike to a condescending manner

She acts like my mom. 4-Hyperactive Amber. 5-Wine industry destroyer Diona. Like we get it. Chill. P.S. I don't hate any of these characters.

I think Al-Haithem would be the least annoying for me 😂 We both will be just waiting for the elevetor to get fixed with the book in hand and not bother each other. I enjoy his character a lot - he's smart, rational, blunt and doesn't care what people think about him, just doing his thing. I also find him really funny 😂 But I get why some people could be easily offended or irritated by him. But in this situation with elevator, I'd pick him over any other character who would want to talk to me lol

I was so happy that Diluc and Kaeya didn't rank in this. I don't find Alhaitham annoying at all, I find him funny and refreshing. He just wants to do his thing and be left alone. As a fellow introvert I totally get it. NGL: I would love to be stuck in a elevator with Zhongli. He would have SO many interesting stories to share. Kaeya, Dain and Diluc would be great too. I would have had to have a tie between Fischl and Dori(maybe a four-way Paimon and Childe{that "girly" line}) I love these videos. Thank you so much!!!
