They're all great but damn after your first route it's honestly hard as hell to just restart and pick another house like nothing because I'm already so attached to my units like I spent all that time building them up mentally and physically and now I gotta do it again but for another group of people when I know my og students are right there just out of reach its hard man I can't just let go like that

Guys, it's pretty easy to tell which house is the best: the only one with Felix. Felix is pretty hot, and so is Dimitri. Oh, and Sylvain, Mercedes, and Ingrid are just awesome characters. I'm definitely going with the Blue Lions.

I was mostly Black Eagles for the longest time. After the E3 trailer, I started going back and forth between them and the Blue Lions. But ultimately, Claude won me over for the Golden Deers at the last minute.

Everyone always overlooks the Lions because "Dimitri looks boring" which is really funny to me now that I've seen his story. It also sucks though because certain story points hit better when you experience them in Blue Lions first.

Golden Deers are like the underdogs of the story so I decided to go them and so far I’m loving the interaction of the gang.

From one who (almost) went through all three main routes, I can confidently say that BL has probably one of the best lords in FE history EVER. The best maps I think also in BL and GD.

Oh hey a video to help me pick, this should help! later: oh no, I love this character, but I love this one too... But I want to know which house to pick, but I don't want spoilers on the patHS-

Gravitating towards Black Eagles and maybe try to recruit someone from Golden Deer or Blue Lions.

I was gonna go for golden deer but Dimitri honestly feels more authentic and soft, he needs some love! So I slept one night over it and went for blue lions! Gonna try to recruit some others! Maybe will S-Support bi Edelgard in another run!!!!!

The way I see it, the red house is the most challenging route, yellow seems to be the funnest, and blue seems to be the most interesting. Of course, I say this based solely on the personalities of the students but if there’s any good character development involved then we’re likely to encounter at least some of these elements since the red is very militant, the yellow is very laid back and personal-first, and almost every member of blue house has a tragic or at least depressing backstory. I’m very excited to play all 3 of these routes and see what the game has to offer(I personally like the golden deer, I also play Pokémon go on team instinct lmao I don’t even like yellow that much my fav color is red)

When I eventually get Fire Emblem: Three Houses I am going to choose the Black Eagles.

I only need to know which house has Edelgard. Joking aside, she looks to be a promissing character as her design is very distinct.

I was going to chose the Golden Deers because Claude, but the house members made me chose Black Eagle.

Everyone's picking cause of characters buy my favorite color is blue and my favorite animal are lions so it was a done deal.

I can’t decide between Claude and Dimitri, but I think i’ll go with Dimitri, he’s more my type.

It's worth noting that like in echoes, not every unit learns the same spells. Lysithea for example learns different faith and spells compared to Marianne, Marianne for example can't learn warp, but Lysithea can. And for the record, Warp is disgustingly broken, it's only downside is it can only be used once a battle. But Lysithea has a crazy high magic growth and will easily be able to send somone halfway across pretty much every map in the game before act 2.

If it wasn't for Claude, I don't think the choice would be very easy. But that leader, Lysithea, Marianne, and Hilda are all in the Golden Deer, so it's pretty obvious which one is the best. Memes or not, the Golden Deer is the only real choice.

I was seriously not expecting Edelgard to have a Les option. 2 playthroughs, here we go!

*Black Eagles:* The most unique story, and is the only house that has a branching story path, even if one of those paths kinda sucks. *Blue Lions:* Has the overall best cast, as well as the largest amount of drama and character development. *Golden Deer:* Has the overall best story, as well as the best maps and most satisfying ending. This one is my personal favorite.

There are a few characters I like, but they're split between each house so I have no idea as to which house I should start from and recruit the rest. Also I'm kinda disappointed that there aren't as many characters that I like the look of in this one compared to Awakening or Fates. Still very excited to play this though!

After watching the whole video I'm still as torn as ever. Each house seems to have an equal number of cool and interesting characters, and an equal number of dunces.

Edelgard for Smash Ultimate, but not before Crash Bandicoot and Leon Kennedy, please.

I watched nothing before I started the game. I'm 30+ hours in playing Golden Deer and i love it so far.

Obviously, the only correct choice is the one that has Berneadetta, Dorothea, and Petra. Oh, and Edlegard is pretty good too I guess. The black Eagles is the only real choice here.

I’m pretty upset that Linhardt is the only male character you can achieve an S-rank support with as the male protagonist. Don’t get me wrong cuz I freakin LOVE Linhardt and I relate with him a lot but I also would’ve liked to see two more possible male S-rank characters (I was specifically hoping for Felix, Claude, Hubert, or Raphael). Still looking forward to the game though! My imagination will have to do for my other male-male relationships. God, I sound like Nina from Fates. I’m not creepy I swear ✊🏾

I logic I went with is their system of government. You got your sorta mercantile city states confederacy (kinda like post Roman empire italy that ran on mostly powerful nobles and mercenary armies). Lots of crossing and double crossing in those arrangements. No loyalty besides the coin. A rather chaotic and unpredictable (and frankly unstable) way to run a nation. You got your Kingdom. Which clearly ran on traditional feudal system. It would have a strong national identity and a rather uniform culture. Subjects would be loyal and owe much to their king's protection and prosperity (much in the way of Marth). And finally you got your empire. Now empires ran and gotten so large (least the successful ones) because they knew they simply could not maintain all that territory without compromise. As such empires like the Persian and Alexander the great's empire had a policy of taking over the land. But generally gave the land his protection, their autonomy and vast and efficient trade routes across the empire. As such, knowledge, technology, resources (and most importantly money) are very efficiently shared without the imperial crown stifling matters or acting in such a large blanket manner as to say... offend or displease certain territories or cultures. But history has shown empires do eventually crumble as many colonies tend to wish for independence when the annual tributes/taxes levied to run the empire becomes too high for the local territory to handle (larger the territory, the more you have to pay to maintain a military to expand to keep sustaining itself or to just defend its vast borders). So obviously my choice was Edelgard because she is a cute.

My choice was made like this..... My favourite colour is BLUE I’m British - LIONS And I value honour, nobility etc. so with those factors I chose The Blue Lions rather than looking at stats and making my choice because let’s be honest they’ve all got pros and cons. And all the houses are pretty decent so I chose more on a personal level than looking at the stats and who might be good for what etc. And I’m happy with my choice.

My heart beats for Ingrid, Mercedes, Annette, and Edelgard.

After three days of deciding I got the game, and chose Black Eagles. At that moment I wasn't entirely sure, but after a few battles I was convinced they were the best choice for me. I've grown fond of my students, (not to mention one of them is really hot), and I stand for the Empire. But if you're having problems choosing, I'll give you a brief description of the house leaders, who kinda set up the mood in which you'll be playing the whole game: *Edelgard:* Slytherin decided to protect the Empire. *Dimitri:* All about justice and chivalry and trying to be nice all the time (trying). *Claude:* Don't take it seriously guys I just wanna have fun.

So my first play through I chose the Golden Deer. I liked Claude Hilda, and Marianne. But I didn’t realise how much I’ll hate the others. I don’t mind Lysethia but she is sometimes a pain to use in battle. (I’m not a very experienced player don’t judge)
