as someone who has an iPhone XR and is thinking of upgrading to a 15, this video helped a lot. my XR is slowly dying and I can feel the lag. knowing there isn't a big difference from some of the 14's and the plus' and pro's. thanks a lot!

@@muhammadbinmohamedamin2179 i was actually thinking about getting the 14. it’s cheaper and basically the same as the 15 with a few difference. it’s also not too old and i’m not really desperate for the new 15’s. i don’t even think the 15 is worth it if it’s not the pro version. it’s essentially like the 14 from what i gathered from this video and many others. but that’s just my take

I got the blue plus yesterday, and I’m very disappointed in the color, or lack of color, lol. I wanted the color I saw on the ads…a very soft pastel blue. I got white. The only part that looks light blue is around the camera and the outside trim. Not loving it. I’m thinking I got an irregular color.

@@stephaniels5421 i think that’s also why i didn’t want a regular 15. the blue color on the 14 is much better (i got it today). the pastels on the 15’s are way too light. i’m sorry that you didn’t get what was advertised/expected

I purchased my phone on March day and it was pretty seamless going straight through AT&T. I went with the one terabyte option so that way I have plenty of room for shooting video and taking lots of sports photography. Sports fans need the space so they can hold a lot of memories from the events they attend. I also shoot train videos from my brother who is a train enthusiast.

Great video, but I couldn't disagree more when you said there's a lot of differences between the regular and pro models this year. There are minor differences, even less than previous years IMO. 1. 120hz refresh rate - yeah, this is the biggest one it makes sense why Apple locks this to pro's only 2. Action button - gimmick, people will be over it in a week 3. Titanium frame - again, gimmick. An argument can be made that the aluminum frame feels and looks better than titanium 4. Updated processor - doesn't matter at all cause the A16 was already overkill for 99.9% of people 5. Updated cameras - if you're truly a professional and use LOG, then yes I can see the justification. But again, for 99% of consumers, they won't notice a difference 6. Battery life - According to multiple battery test videos, the regular models have better battery life than the Pros Just my opinions. I usually upgrade year over year and go with the Pro models but I'm returning the 15 Pro for the regular 15 because I just don't see the value this year.

I am currently using a IPhone SE 2020 and I was thinking about either getting the iPhone 15 Plus or Pro Max so this was very helpful! I think I’ll be going for the 15 Plus, I love the beautiful baby blue color and I would like a bigger phone!

The fact you can now record direct to external storage on the 15 pro models negates the need for the internal storage. The £200.00 price difference is the cost of a 2 to 4 tb external ssd. Also the additional cost to have 2tb iCloud storage with a monthly cost. Whilst there is much back on forth on is it worth upgrading. The USB C port especially on the pro models, will reduce accessory costs significantly. Given the pro max is now on back orders for deliveries being scheduled in November in a number of places around the world. The change to USB C appears to flip predictions around as to uptake of the new model.

The most interesting thing that I learned from you was that the Pro actually took better still photos because of the difference in lenses than the Pro Max. I have the 11Pro Max it was the first phone in a long time that I actually “loved”. Everything about this phone was what I was looking for when I got it-it still is tbh! I could’ve upgraded a few times now but I was worried about giving up my “perfect” phone 😂 I’m finally ready! I really wanted to know the difference between the models -this video really helped me. I do believe I’ll be going with the 15promax 256g not sure of the color though. I currently have the dark green but that’s really not a huge issue. I was going to go with the 512g but after listening to your reasons and checking my storage (I still have 170g open) I really do not need 512 ! Thanks for the great information

I was playing with the 15 and 15 pro in the apple store today taking similar shots zoomed across the room and then closeups of the text on the table (the word iphone) and to my eye the base 15 looked much better. The pro close ups of text on the table were much blurier than the exact same shot taken on the 15 and the zoom of the 15 across the room in the apple looked clearer. I was completely confused. I was there trading in an iphone 8 so was just waiting while the apply guy did the checks they do and I showed him and he couldnt disagree. Very strange.

Ordered the 15PM 512gb in Natural Titanium. Upgrading from the 12PM. Went with the 512gb because I love to take a lot of pictures and videos. I also plan on keeping it for 3-4 years and I don’t want to worry about storage

In most of the battery tests that have released over the last 24-48 hours, the regular 15 Pro has the worst battery (worse than previous Pro models it seems) and 15 Plus unanimously has the best battery. The 15 Pro is having to deal with the stronger chipset, display, and “Pro processing” applications while still have the same size battery as the base 15; that’s a combination for disaster. If battery is your biggest concern, you’re literally better off sticking to the non-Pro models or shelling out a crazy $1200 for a phone.

I’m planning to get the 15 in pink 256. I could get pro max for 899 at metro. But in all honesty I dislike the design . Plus I never use the 3rd camara. And I have at and t. So I’ll stick to them . Quick question is upgrading from the 12 pro to 15 worth it. The pro features don’t amaze me and I like light and portable devices . Plus my phone is dropping calls, and the battery health is degrading. Plus I heard the 12 series is being bad cuz of radiation . Which I understand. I want something with better battery life as well. Cuz the 12 came with smaller batteries in my opinion. I could wait until may 2024 to upgrade. But In all honesty. By then this phone may sell😅 out or the deals will be gone

The regular 15 pro has the same camera hardware as the 14pro. The only camera upgrade is on the 15 pro max and only the 5x zoom. The aperture and sensor size didn’t change.

15 pro takes 24 mp normal photos while the 14 pro takes 12 mp normal photos. They both do go up to the same 48mp for RAW photos tho

I'm gonna stick with the IPhone 15 (normal one) because I'm not a photographer neither a influencer that I take many pictures but I'm still getting 256gb and the iPhone 15 is better to carry around and ik the Pro models are 20% faster when you transfer stuff but I don't transfer stuff and there are new colors in the iPhone 15 but I'm still deciding on getting the light blue or the black. (My sister said u should get the black one but what do you guys think I should get?

Idk I never used more than 140gb, but that was on an android phone a few years ago, since I’ve got iPhones I never used more than probably 80gb since I’ve got iCloud so I don’t understand why would you really need 1TB storage or even 512gb storage

I went with the 1 terabyte pro max in natural titanium. This for sure will last me years. NGL if my iphone 8 didnt die on me I wouldve been using it to this day. But coming from a 256 iphone 11 pro max isnt bad. This is the one phone I wont upgrade until it breaks

If you don’t go and look at all the models, any one you choose will be great! I did and wasted my time deciding! Go with the plus! It’s pretty awesome. Feels better in hands too. Weighs almost as much as the 11.

The amount of contemplating I've done the past 2 days has been mind boggling. I ultimately decided to go for the 15 Pro over the 15 Pro Max because I prefer the smaller size and one-hand usability. Either way, it will be a huge jump from my 11 Pro to the 15 Pro when it arrives and I'm so excited!

I think the 15 will be more up your alley, but if you don’t mind bigger phones, I really think the plus is a great size to try out! Worst case you can exchange it for the smaller one :)

@MatthewVlossak honestly the battery on my 14 pro max has actually gotten so bad that I’m seriously considering just selling it as well. The few things about the 15 pro I really like and if those are worth to you might be a decent choice to sell the 14 pro.

Coming from iPhone X, would it be wise to upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro? I’m really torn between iPhone 15 Plus or iPhone 15 Pro. I enjoy photography and would love to improve my skills but at the same time, I want a better battery life + overall great performance. Hey! Also upgrading from the iPhone X, I’m going for the 15 Pro Max, honestly any iPhone 15 will have better battery life than the iPhone X. I’m going for the 15 pro max for the zoom lens. All models this year have great camera specs, but the pro phones are better fro growing your skills

If you enjoy photography go for the Pro Max, best battery and best screen too. Keep in mind the 15 Pro Max is much smoother when scrolling than the Plus will be due to the 120 HZ Pro Motion...

Just received my 15 plus and even I was concerned about 60hz since I am coming from 120 hz on 14 pro max however it's not that bad at all because of the iOS fluidity, considering its way lighter and so easy on my pocket, I never cared about the pro raw anyway so I am glad I went with the plus model this yr😁 and not forgetting the price difference

It’s amazing I love it. Definitely notice the weight difference more, if you want the size but no weight go for 15 plus. Personally loving the pro-motion a lot so sticking with the 15 pm for sure!

Excellent video!! Could I please ask a quick question? I would be ordering my first ever iphone this time. Preorders are on & it says available on the 22nd September. When I put in my address (New York) on the apple website, it is showing me a delivery period on 3-4 weeks. (16-23rd October). Would I have a greater chance on getting one sooner if I go to the apple store or even the offline stores would be working on backorders due to high demand? Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for watching! Yeah so basically today morning was the preorder and if you made the preorder on time you would have gotten it by launch. But those orders go quick and the days keep getting pushed. Which is why now it’s 3-4 weeks out. Your best bet is to open up the app on 22nd morning and keep refreshing and hope you hit on an iPhone near by you at a store. Or if you don’t mind waiting then just order and wait it out.

"Keep in mind, you don't get that zoom lens that you get with last year's pro model"... No iPhone has ever had any zoom lens. You can "zoom" but it's just cropping in on the sensor until a longer lens can take over. The term you're looking for is "tele lens".

After a few weeks and in store contemplating over the pro max or plus I decided on the plus. Lighter weight, supposedly a tad longer battery (per reviews), non overheating, I prefer aluminum, old school feel, hate the giant cameras on the pros, and supposedly less pwm waves ( OLED gives me headaches), and I think the matte finish looks nicer than the pros! I ordered a pro max black but cancelled and got the plus. Sure the pros probably better for apple snobs, but I won’t notice any difference. I’m coming from an iPhone 11. P.S. the natural titanium looks good on videos but looks cheap in person.

So something that works for me if I miss preorder is the morning of launch date (22nd) keep refreshing the Apple Store app and you’ll see small stock here and there in nearby Apple stores to you. But it goes quick so you gotta be on top of it.

Simple year actually , iPhone 15 gives you 0 real reasons to buy it (60hz in 2023.......) . iPhone 15 Pro lineup is something to get if you like latest and the best. iPhone 14 Pro is now maybe a best buy.

I would say I´m an average user (browsing, socials, etc.). Currently I'm drawn into the Iphone 15 pro because of its look and the form factor, however I´m afraid of the (durability of the) battery life. I'm looking for an Iphone which can last me another ~4 years at least, without having to charge it every 5 hours. Also I wonder how battery saving options and future software updates will improve the battery life of the Iphone 15 pro PS coming from a 5 year old samsung S8.... Also considering S23
