He's an idiot. That's why he's teaching here. Mechanical core highest domestic package is 70LPA core and 1cr+ non core this year in IIT KGP. Average domestic core package is around 15LPA and lowest is around 12LPA in core.

India me log kabil banne ki koshish nahi krte. Bas marks aur job ki sochte hai. Tum kisi bhi field me upar aa sakte ho agar tum kabil ho. Log engineering karke simple circuit ya drawing nahi bana sakte to kya ummid hogi unse.

Because u won't get job good even though u are topper or backbencher and if you get job also starting salary is 15kwithout any holiday 12hours you need to work after two to three year experience you will get 25 to 30 thousand salary no growth no work life balance

bhai ganta farak padta hai ki tum kon se branch se hou IIT NIT mai. Haan 2-3 companies hungi jo sirf CSE walo ko baitne degi. Par majority of companies koe bhi branch wale ko baitne degi. Tum civil k hou ya mechanical. Apna CGPA maintain rakho aur coding sikhte raho. Aptitude strong kro taaki screening test nikal lo. Aur baith jao placement mai. Mai tow khud civil le k baitha hu . Last year GATE deya tow NIT Warangal mel ra tha. Es saal fir dunga tow hopefully IIT mel jae. Aab mai 1.5 saal baith k coding sikh lunga aur Placement mai baith jaunga bhaale hi meri mtech civil ki branch mai hou koe.

Don't take civil engineering as a career option as it is one the worst Branch in engineering.... Trust me you will definitely going to regret if u choose this branch... No social respect, low salary, no holidays, worst work life balance even after from top institute with enough skills and experience i still can't get near to my CS department friend's fresher salary

ELECTRICAL BRO; Reasons: The future is on Electric vehicles, without Power, nothing exists in my view. Moreover, HPCL, IOCL, Power Grid, and many more Maharatna PSUs give starting salary of around 1.5 lahks per month including benefits
