When I was a kid there was a cartoon called Chip and Dale rescue. And the engineer was a little white mouse name gadget. For every one of the adventures she built planes, miniature submarines, helicopters, cars, using everyday house like strings buttons bottle caps juice box plastic bottles rubber bands and more. Only the first two are Stirling engines, which derive their power from the air being heated to produce pressure which acts on the front of the power piston, and then the air is cooled to produce a partial vacuum, so that atmospheric pressure presses on the back of the power piston. The third engine is a vacuum engine, commonly know as a “flame licker” which derives its power from hot gases being sucked into the cylinder, then the valve shuts, the gases cool down and atmospheric pressure presses on the back of the piston to push it back down the cylinder, producing power only on the return stroke.

Well not with this 200 year old engine model it would need some more fixing and there is less possibility that this would be able to produce same energy as petroleum cars , although by this engine we can harness solar and volcanic heat energy for electricity

For anyone wondering, that last one isn't exactly a stirling, it works with sucking in hot air (from the flame) and as the air cools down the pressure drops and the outside (atmospheric) pressure is what pushes it, basicly the reverse of a stirling, it still awsome tho
