Poor Hiyyih why, she chose those parts and is totally respectable. If you remember, in the Shoot team nobody wanted to do the main vocal and Bahiyyih had the opportunity to volunteer to have more lines.

I think they covered the Christmas song because they were the only unit without a member with covid. They've been divided into units based on height so far (their reality show, vlives, etc). I think Mashiro and perhaps Yujin are definitely gonna be in the vocal line

Fun Fact! Bahiyyih actually got the Killing Part in Shoot! The "Maybe, Maybe Not" part was switched from Vocal 3/4 to Bahiyyih. As well as a couple of lines from Vocal 1. Interesting that Mnet chose to edit a whole fake rivalry over Fu Yaning and Sui Ruiqi switching parts, but never showed how Bahiyyih got those lines...

They often chose either groups focused on dance or big groups, so it's logical if you really think about it. Bahiyyih also advertised herself as a dancer (she really should've gone for vocals in my opinion, but as an untrained dancer, she's actually pretty decent according to professional dancers) while Hikaru preferred rapping, which means less lines unfortunately.

@@ll-cb3py bahiyyih can be top5 or 6 in vocals. she hits the right notes, stable and relaxed singing but her cons are she has a quiet singing style that can sometimes appear as less expressive and powerful. having a quiet singing style doesn't mean you are less capable. being loud isn't the same as being strong in vocals. shouting isn't the same as singing. but so far all of kepler has some solid vocals, kinda like slightly above average to really good vocalists like chaehyun and youngeun

@@ll-cb3py She definitely isn't one of the weakest among the group vocals but more like the groups vocals are weak, I have watched multiple videos and also a video of a vocal trainer (or something) ranking kep1er vocals and they ranked bahiyyih 5th so she is right in the middle and also can improve as well so no, she isn't one of the weakest vocalist in the group

@@beomblast saw someone i follow claim that the ranking would be Chae>Youngeun>= Bahi. Chae is the only one with support and Youngeun/Bahi are relaxed around G4 so yeah she's definitely on top of Kep1er's vocal

Ironically, I feel like the hate train and lack of screentime actually benefited her in a sense that it gave her what I call "The Blackpink Effect." When you starve a fanbase by only feeding them crumbs, eventually like birds they're going to come back for more and sometimes bring friends who'll bring their friends and so on... I mean, Hiyyihlights were dedicated in a way that I've only seen in a from fanbases like ARMYs or something. Plus, I feel like when you're an outsider and see all this stuff over every social media platform about how horrible such and such contestant is, but you go to her fancam and see her actually be decent, if not good or great, it's easy to see her as an underdog and grow attached. So Mnet kinda gave her an unintentional underdog arc too lmao 🤣

the members who performed pick their own line or the members have the privilege to vote who will sang a part of the song. The show has nothing to do with the line distribution.

How about they do more songs in the show in general, rather wasting minutes of show on evil editing or fake cringey drama. I just think the show's structure is the main issue. They focus too much on less important/unfunny things that are supposed to be entertaining, but are usually just very forced and cringe. I think the majority of people who was survival shows are there for the performances, and the girls personalities. However the fake drama and other wastes of times, like the useless judges imo, is the real problem I find in the show. If the premise is for us to choose individual girls to become an idol in a group, why are we seeing so little of the girls performance and other screentime, in exchange for stupid drama and reactions from the judges.

@@levitatingstan6526 not really, if two people want the same part it's voted who the best and like all the other produce we know some just pick their friend, like when Dayeon and Caibing wanted to be leader, all the Chinese member chose Caibing, and it's the same for kill part or singing/raping part, so no she can't totally chose and she's a sweetheart, so she probably take the least wanted part for avoid problem in group (in gp999)

The lines were decides by the girls not mnet and hiyyih wasn't confident so she doesn't get a lot of lines its her choice tho but in shoot she gained more confidence that's why she got a lot of lines and she shined a lot, confidence is really needed.

@@ningster6144 Exactly, Youngeun was a example of a very confident trainee and was always ambitious which is also why she got a lot of lines during the show. She knew what she wanted and went for it without any hesitation which in those type of scenarios are really good for getting more lines in the end.

@@arstan8092 Not entirely, in part the participants are allowed to decide and participate in the preparation of the presentations but in the same way the production intervenes, it is assumed that the end is perfect the presentation and give a more attractive show to the public but this is not always the case, we only saw small segments,but we do not know what happened behind the scenes, even some participants have said that they received some indications from the staff and then edited them in production to generate controversy. We must also be aware of the constant changes in voting dynamics and the screen time given to each participant, Huenin was not the only victim, kpop groups are for sale, and mnet cares about the korean market, if they consider that a girl is not going to like the koreans it immediately hinders it, Huenin seems like the clearest example to me, but there are many other kids from other survival shows who suffered the same thing.

@@vanessagonzalez1314 I agree there was alot of evil editing (Mostly against chinese trainees, not bahhiyeh), i was never saying anything against that, but we have not had anything leaked about that mnet specifically changed peoples roles when the people was deciding on roles etc. Could she have been unfairly edited, sure. But the lines she got from what we have seen was given by the trainees and not mnet staff. This discussion was only discussion on line distribution, which has been shown pretty well to be the trainees choice. I think the best examples for evil editing are Su Ruiqi, Cai Bing and Fu Yaning. They was the ones truly treated horribly by Mnet directly thanks to the editing. The main mistreatment bahhiyeh got was that she did not get enough screentime, but that could simply be because she was not going for big lines and we do not really know. But the chinese trainess was literally painted as evil, bad people and disrespectful while having consistantly shown to be some of the most if not the most talented people on the show, i did not see a single edit like that of bahhiyeh.

Yes it's complicated, for example Yujin in Bubble pop or Chaehyun in My Sea. For Another Dream, Yeseo is for half the song in the center of the stage but it is complicated to define since apart from a few moments nobody moves. i try to do my best!

@@itsmizuri True. Luckily, Hikaru's Korean is improving fast! Xiaoting's the one I'm worried about when it comes to lines. Also, Dayeon and Youngeun auditioned as rappers too. Xiaoting can as well. And Yujin! Man, this group really is full of all-rounders now that I think about it!
