Every time I look at drum mags i just see the price of 50 to 100 rounds and cant do it 😂

I got 30s and 40s for 5.56, windowed 25s for .308, and 17s for 9x19

6.8 LWRC is a slow moving train. Great round, and as good as it gets rifle!

Does the dust cover also prevent the lips from spreading from long-term loaded magazines?

It doesn't seem to "squeeze" them together in a way that would suggest that feature, but definitely keeps dust & dirt out of you fully loaded mags.

They're intended to push the rounds down just enough to take pressure off the feed lips.

No. I contacted their customer service about this issue. Their official answer was no, the dust cover is just a dust cover. Their mags lips are guaranteed not to spread when loaded, even for long periods, with or without the dust cover being installed. They also guarantee their mag springs to not weaken when fully loaded for extended periods.

I love and cannot say enough good things about ets magazines as well. I trust my life to an ets mag as my spare with a +5 base plate and spring from tyrant CNC. In my Glock 24/7 when carrying is an OEM 17rounder everyday all day.

They literally can't do it. The Mec-Gar tubes are pretty thin. Don't think the plastic can match that durability while being that thin.
