Yo when I was 17 I worked at a shoneys buffet and the manager would walk across the street to a gas station and buy a gang of king cobras and stuff them in the ice machine for the closers to get trashed while we spayed down the floors. Great memories.

When I was a junior in HS it was 1975 and Schlitz Malt Talls were king of change counting Fridays. Mickey's Bigmouth were when you could afford food to go with. I never quite got to Colt 45, I was suspicious of any brand that could afford TV commercials. The ladies got Boons Farm Strawberry Hill Wine, which was better than chloroform in a hanky and a bottle of rufies.

I gotta go with the colt, wrapped in a paper bag for some extra flavor. This, and mad dog, have been there through some of the best times of my life, ending up face down in the gutter. And speaking of a kick to the groin, that usually comes after several bottles of the colt, and staggering into a “massage parlor”. Usually have to pay extra for that, however.

I quit drinking years ago out of self defence, I used to drink a lot of Mickey' s malt liqueur. To me it seems the Old English is the clear winner because of the safety bottle and the amazing look on your face when you were pouring into the glass.

I went to a party back in the early '90s in Lindsay California with some Stoner metalheads and they had a keg of King cobra. I'll never forget that night. They also had a band playing named bludgeon.

When I was growing up Old English and Private Stock were considered the higher class 40oz. St.Ides had and prob still does the highest alcohol content of any 40oz I know of including Steel reserve.

I would choose the racoon, they got some REAL busy little dexterous fingers. I used to drink more of both of those beers than I can clearly remember, but it's been so long I didn't even know OE800 came in plastic bottles now. Great vid, AKB, you topped off my weekend juuuuust right. By the way, I don't know if you take recommendations for beer to try, but I would highly urge you to check out the Allagash Brewing Company's 'Curieux', that is hands down the best beer I have ever tasted. Finally, a review of quality after chopping (or during) beverages. However the review was distinctly lacking in the area of head. I’m sure others in this list are concerned about the quality of head you get with these malt beverages. Please comment on this key component in future malt beverage reviews. Aside from lack of discussion of head quality, its an excellent video.

In my country, it still can be called "beer". Also, our strong versions typically have 8-8,5% of alcohol (everything that contains more would be taxed). Personally, I love strong beers with around 6% alcohol.
