I think they're all pretty subjective. IMO, H:SR was the best with vibes, but HI3 was best with intensity. Genshin was the best at giving you an actual informative intro instead of forcing you into a confusing battle, while ZZZ was just great at making you confused.

@@Sholver that‘s what I‘m saying. I like all the cutscenes and they fit the games vibes. Since the genshin vibe is my favorite, partly bcz it‘s my fav game, the genshin opening cutscene is my fav as well. I don‘t see what’s wrong with that.

I feel that genshins was the best because it didn't throw many confusing terms like "Stelleron" or "Hollow". That s why i found it easier to get into genshin. Less terms to be confused about.

Tied for first: Genshin and HI3. Genshin's is epic and Hi3 is just bad ass (and then they throw you right into combat!). That opening scene with Kiana is all it took to get me to start playing last November. So far both SR and ZZZ are just not living up to their predecessors for me. So they can fight over 3rd and 4th place.

All things considered, I think gen shin does it best for me. Perfectly sets up the whole game in it's opening our motivation our goal main antagonist but leaves many things answered that players can theorize over after getting new information, I mean people to this talk about this.

1st Genshin 2nd HI3rd 3rd HSR 4th ZZZ That's how i would rank them. Tho tbh Genshin, HI3rd and HSR are great and enticing openings, only ZZZ failed to capture my interest. Genshin gives us the feeling of great adventure awaiting us, HI3rd has epic fight as opening and HSR has kafka's mesmerizing movements while a fight is breaking out like a madman. ZZZ gave me confusion on first few minutes.

1. genshin, mainly because i'm incredibly nostalgic and also because it drew me in and made me excited to play like no other game has before. 2. hsr, no notes, amazing and captivating and i was vibrating with excitement the whole time 3. hi3, i remember watching the scene and thinking about how cool the intro was and then immediately getting thrown into a fun battle 4. last purely because this is the only place left lmao, imo it ties with hi3's opening, it was really cool.

People giving Genshin a bad look on purpose despite it looking the second best literally and also the most purposeful one too, HSR is literally the laziest one here, HI3rd and ZZZ have some god tier animations so there is that. So visually 1. HI3rd 2. Genshin 3. ZZZ 4. HSR Narratively 1. GENSHIN 2. HI3RD 3. HSR 4. ZZZ Anybody throwing shade at Genshin literally doesn't understand how much effort that Genshin one took compared to Star Rail which is literally just a low budget pretencious Oh look I am so Poetic and Philosophical kinda shit. HI3rd and ZZZ work on the rule of cool and Genshin excels at story telling HSR excels at making people think it's deep when it's not
