I love this so much, I play a game called smite and they are coming out with a new one soon with the newest unreal engine, but you should look into the game because it covers all these gods and people have made videos about all their powers being used in real life and putting them in tier list and it’s hilarious, and love the hours long videos cause it helps make work go so much faster

Can you guys do gods and goddesses in the Philippine mythic before we were forced to convert into Catholicism. Presently, those in the provinces fuse their Catholic beliefs with traditional superstition. So a lot of us still grew up knowing about the dwendes, diwatas, etc etc. (those are more cryptozoology) but we have very interesting gods and goddesses that were taught in our history classes! Like dalikamata. Her mythos also explained why owls have big eyes and the spots on butterflies that look like eyes.

As per the stories, Jupiter (Rome), Zeus (Greek), Thor (Norse) and Indra (Hindu) are the same person. They all were gods of thunder and lightning. They all were rulers (Olympus, Heavens etc.). They all fought some big snake (Typhoon, Jormangander, Vritra). Also Hermes (Greek) and Narayan (Hindu) had similar job role

There aren't any sources that actually suggest Thor had the ability to manifest or manipulate lightning. His name was just very common with the old norse word for thunder.

So in Dungeons and Dragons terms, Hades would be a lawful good sorcerer wizzard multiclass specializing in necromancer spells Zeus would be a draconic blue dragon based sorc palladin and druid multiclass so he can having lightening and smite And wildshape And Poseidon would be a sea based tempest sorcerer and possible a palladin for his martial prowess 😂😂😂

Could I just say that hades wasn’t a bag God or was ever a god portrayed in a negative way. He was never wronged in a way where he was “forced to deal” with the underworld at all. I’m sorry I’m Greek and this misrepresentation of our history and heritage needs to stop. Hades being shown in this negative like is like a when Egyptians get Thei aincient gods get misrepresented.

As a christian I am unoffended. "Insane 10 Plagues From the Bible That Tortued Egypt" was a decent attempt to explain the biblical story. I am open to the idea that these were the real plagues and the writer of Exodus lacked the modern lingo to describe what was happening.

I think unlike European mythology , Asian deities, especially Chinese deities, are some of the strongest deities because they utilize what they have and demonstrate traits of perseverance in hard times, intelligence, their caring and loving nature towards human, and hard work, which is a reflection of the Chinese people as a whole: the reason why China has a written history of 5000 years and is still standing today.
