NATO member countries have pledged to deliver extra weaponry to support Ukraine in its struggle against the Russian incursion. The US leads in furnishing military aid, with the UK and the European Union also contributing significantly. Various nations across the globe have supplied military gear to bolster Ukraine's arsenal. Regrettably, a portion of these weapons has been seized by the Russian forces. This, therefore, unintentionally puts the Western backers of Ukraine indirectly furnishing military equipment to Russia. This situation arises as an increasing number of armored vehicles and weapons, initially given to the Kyiv government by the US and its partner nations, are being taken by Moscow forces. yeah true, because russian arms producers are owned by the government, so they are required to produce weapons made for war, and not profit, as the government owns them, everything is produced at base production price with the only extra payments being to pay the workers, this is why the US needs to nationalize its military industrial complex if it wants to be successfull in a real big war, Since independent private military companies act like car dealers because they need profit to keep operating When Russian tanks are cheaper and basic, they are easily repaired in the field, and easily have their systems replaced, they can also go thru hell and keep running even after months of no maintaince, aswell as being able to be easily produced in order to allow for sustainability (500 tanks lost in a year, factory produces 500 to replace them in the same year) just like a actual war machine should be, When hyper modern western tanks made for profit like the german Panther KF51, Challenger 3, and Abrams X, cant be repaired easily in the field and need specialized engineering vehicles, worst of all is when one of their hyper modern systems are damaged, like how the hell will you replace a extremely expensive sight in the field, or a field base, more likely than not it needs to be transported to a specialized repair facility far behind the front to get it replaced,

I'm from the future, which is february 2024. They destroyed the First Abrams we sent to Ukraine. It' was Ukraine's fault. Instead of using the tank to fight, they just drove i around. Theories was to show off to the people to improve morale. Russia saw the tank being displayed, and destroyed it.

No. The only modern equipment Russia has captured is the CV90. The Russian army is currently displaying all type of equipment captured in Ukrain. No Leopard 2 ( Despite those destroyed or damaged none of them were brought back behind the Russian line) No Ceasar captured ( Ceasar are operating more than 30 kms inside Ukrainian lines..) Despite the fact Russia claim they have 2 of them since spring of 2022,not any picture has been shown by Russian propagandists. All.they could show were: One captured AMX 10 RCR AMX10 RCR is being phased out of the french arsenal, it is currently replaced by the Jaguar. The most valuable piece on it is its termal scope...The very same Thales sold to Moscow in 2011.... This tech is already perfectly known by the Russian. All the rest are vehicules type M113 ( 60 years old tech) or MRAP ...low cost véhicule built for counter insurgency. On the other hand Ukrainians have captured state of the art T90M tank, or Krasukha 4 electronic warfare vehicule...

An RPG-7 can disable all current top tier IFV's. Would require some luck no doubt. I'm not sure it was an RPG--7 though, is saw the video of Shoigu checking the IFV and the damage looked more extensive, like a damn Kornet or something:) dunno, looked more serious than an RPG7 anyway., passed through a shitload of armor

I am VERY HAPPY when Russia is able to seize Western equipment, especially if it's intact. If they can also get the documentation, even better. Washington and Tel Aviv are 100% responsible for the chaos after 2014 and for putting Ukraine up to this. Putin's fck up was going in half-assed and thinking that he is dealing with rational people in the West. America is Rainbow Clown World and only Russia can purge and cleanse Ukraine of our evil and filth. Maybe China will be ready to clean out Taiwan of America's evil and filth soon.

You for got the Switchblade loitering ammunition which I saw captured on telegram in very good condition, the PD-100 black hornet drones( entire kits with chargers in perfect condition) and more recently an excalibur undetonated round was also seen in Russian hands on telegram nearly intact. The Russians study the design and look for weak spots, as well as copying or replicating technology that can be useful. Some of the weapon systems have been sold on the black market before it even arrived on the battlefield. Another point I would like to make is that the West in general already have very good knowledge of typical Soviet made equipment, except for the most high-end Russian developments the last few years. This has been a big advantage. Now the tables are turning, and there's a good reason why NATO/US will only send the basic versions of tanks and other weapon systems.

@@asilfan The T-72s Iraq used, were the most basic export config and I they used very old type of rounds for the 125mm cannon, that was maybe 20 years old already. At that time Russia used completely different shells for their T-72s, but Iraq didnt need the top of the line version of the tank, or the most recent shells, because they were expecting to fight countries from their region, who operated T-55 or T-62 or even older tanks. The Iraq tanks were mostly destroyed by other things than tanks, just like in the Ukraine conflict, most is taken out by artilery, drones, aircraft or infantry or mines, but not tanks.

@@asilfan, Nope! T-72 in Iraq was very basic export version with many thing not presented on it, for example, they did not have night vision and sub-caliber arm-piercing shells. Most of Iraqi tanks were destroyed Not by Abrams tanks, but by A-10 attack aircrafts and by helicopters with long-range missiles.

Sometimes a weapon design is fantastic and timeless; like the Russian rifle Dragunov, like the antique RPG. Also the tvm from the sixties is very good in use against modern tanks.

Yup. Another example is the turret of the CV90 they hit with that RPG, a cv90 with standard/swe configuration uses the Bofors 40 mm Automatic Gun as turret which was designed in 1945. Its predecessor was used in WW2 by many nations.. Some things you just can't improve on without insane budgets, and swedes generally go the lower price range and high reliability route:)

Now there are fantastic weapons, like super high speed missiles, super exact missiles, the Satan 2, the thermobaric granades/bombs, the sniper grenade which can hit a tank on 20km, high precission long distance rifles, special ammo, bunker busters, khinzals and the standard AK 74. Their warplanes are better than the USA planes, excelent submarines, and the latest tanks are the best in world considered.

The Russian front lines have not been breached. Ukraine after 8 weeks is just now getting to the front lines. Then anything that gets through that will most likely be trapped between the first and second line. Artillery, Ukraine (and NATO) is out of shells and even barrels while Russia has plenty.

Don´t know its comparable armor specs, but visually it does look like a roomy tank. They say its a personnel carrier but I'm convinced its design is a cleaver conspiracy by the Swedish for a near future when the American tank operators are too fat to fit in their Abrams. Then Sweden will "coincidentally" have thousands of mobility-tanks that emphasize space and engine power to accommodate their fat asses ready to sell them.

It's not the same stinger as the one used by the Afghans, but a better and smaller one, easier to transport. That's a great gift to Iran who is a mountainous country. They will replicate them so cheap that every Sheppards will have their stinger, waiting for Israel's F16 crossing their mountains.

IFVs and APCs are meant to survive light arms fire and artillery/mortar fragmentations and blasts. Not direct hits from Anti-Armor weapons and shells

@@sasapopadic384 They're meant for fast moving, sneak attack operations, not head on assaults on a fortified enemy position expecting them. They bring the boys in to the fight and hopefully cover them with suppressing fire enough for the troops to push forward. All of that while going through mine fields, being shot directly and indirectly with artillery and drones etc. Fun fact about those desert sandal warriors and the flying rug carpet force still wrecked havoc on traditional IFV/APC/utility vehicles such as hummvee with mines and IED's. Thats why we saw a new line of vehicles being built called MRAPS. This is not limited to only western equipment either, the russian BTR's are no different.

The total military aid Ukraine has received is $60b, or about 4% of NATO’s annual military budget every year. Literally 2 weeks worth of surplus equipment has been enough to utterly desecrate and humiliate the Russian military

As for the vehicles captured by the Russians , these will be sent to Russian engineers for examination and study as this is just common sense .
