🤔 Or Sony FX3 for video Sony A7R V for stills Sounds better lol. R5 is cool but a7R V much better. + Sony has 198 lenses for there cameras canon only 38🤷🏿‍♂️ But to each it's own as long as you love the craft 👍🏿

I will say this much, for all the hype about sony AF, I've always noticed my Canons to snap on focus much more quickly. The interface is way more snappy to, it all just feels more realtime to me like analog gear. Where as the Sonys seem like processed somehow, its hard to explain, could be the screens refresh rate. And even the shutter click and gow the camera has that feedback of the flap moving. The sony has that but it just seems muted or silenced and the feedback is unsatisfying. My R6 feels more satisfying than my A1 when taking pictures.

Fx3 will be much better for video. Wont ever overheat and the autofocus is top notch. The canon for pictures

I have an R5 but thinking of getting a FX3 for video. I’m not sure if its a big enough leap over the R5 (I would not be selling/replacing the R5 - I love it for photography). For people who strictly shoot video, Most people say the FX3 is better - but for people who already have an R5 I’m not sure if it’s worth switching or buying (as an additional camera).

There is no leap there. R5 is better in every way except the extreme lowlight and the lack of a fan and the record limit it comes with (which is why the R5c exist).

@@boreaphotographie That and.. • Sony lenses are lighter • Sony lenses have lens breathing compensation • Gyro data for post production • Better stabilisation in-camera • Faster sensor readout (less noticeable rolling shutter effect) • Full size HDMI Etc And this is coming from a Canon fanboy! But it’s a lot of money and I’m still not sure if it’s worth buying a FX3 when I already have a R5

You're absolutely right and unfortunately it sounds like someone didn't do the homework. As both the fx30, fx6, fx9 and the fx3 all have internal cooling fans while the canon dose not. Hundreds of videos done by famous photographer KZfaqrs stating the same thing. That they don't overheat. I think before you try to defend Cannon make sure you know your homework bro. Your wrong with it overheating LMAO 😂

Dumb question 🤦🏿‍♂️ there's a reason why Sony has the best autofocus the best lens system and is #1 in the market. So the choice is easy. But let's make it simpler. If your videographer get to FX3 or FX30. If your photographer then you get the A1, A9 ll or the A7r5. Just don't pick Canon 😒

The only thing is, unless you're willing to pay for a rig, SSD, a video assistant that can record then you can't even get access to the 6k and black magic options. And I'm talking about the new Panasonic S5 llX (I think that's it name) Looks like a great camera but you have to spend another 3k to really take advantage of this features. And we're not going even talk about the lag from camera to monitor in Panasonic's newest 📸🤦🏿‍♂️

@@HagaishiSama I understand your point but you didn’t get mine: S5mII (not S5mIIx) no raw recording just good looking internal 10bit compressed video. No rigging whatsoever. Small smart and flexible enough. I do not want nor recommend RAW for most people. I worked for TV and we filmed everything in FullHD non-raw (at 100-200bitrate depending on camera). It’s all about lenses, light and set design.
