Martinelli was all our danger. Sure he missed the shot but other than that he was great. I will not a blame a left winger for not defending a header 7 meters from goal just because he was close. Robbie, it’s not Artetas first season in Europe, he’s flopped in the past two years and he showed that he doesn’t have the tactical knowledge to cope with this level, he has flopped in April in the last 3 years….that is not learning or improving. The football that this side is playing is slow and lacking penetration…it is not entertaining it’s boring! Also none of our forwards look to attack the opposition defenders…. It looks as if their natural instinct has been coached out of them!

That's also because he haven't invested in forwards that can create something out of nothing. Look for example vini junior , mbappe , sane , Coman all these players have pace and power to get past the first defender to create. Saka and martinelli until they develop those skills we will struggle.

Because when they did play freely we finished 8th on 75 pointe or less , within this system we are about to hit 75 + point for the second season in a row whilst having excellent scoring numbers what we lack is a clinical striker how many times the ball shoots across the box and the 9 isn't in the center to tap it in is ridiculous. Most strikers get called tap in merchants because it's all about positioning arsenal score beautiful goals but never easy ones.

Saka has been found out - no where near world class - would have Palmer / Foden all day … Raya - is NOT a top keeper - obviously! Ok I respectfully do not agree with the overall. And here is why : The best of the backline is Tommy as he really had a game to remember against Sane who gave us issues in the first leg. He deserves 6 at most also, as he still looked all over the place at some moments. And also in the first half the ball went over his head to Sane and it was a difficult chance for Bayern. Gabi in defense was so shaky and he was not only sloppy at moments , that shows character and confidence at this stage of the champions league which makes the difference and that is why everyone is speaking about inexperience in our team. Given the standard that Gabi has shown to us throughout the season he should be the powerhouse from the back that gives us the extra confidence. Not only this , football is emotions and with his performance all year long in the back and upfront he sort of asserted us (the fans) with certain standard (not that we want him to score all the games) but we would expect from him to do better but he was shaky and looked unsure. So at best 4. Another player who lacked also this confidence is Martinelle who obviously the experience got into him against Kimmich (the player of the match) who is class player. Again he doesn’t deserve more than 4. Other than that Saka and the other players were on their average performance and it was up to a new tactic to take us along way. We lost it in the first leg in my opinion with Saka not finishing that last ball, and ofc lacking a prolific left back. Cheers

The straight forward and simple fact that seems to be going over everybody's head is that both Saka and Martinelli are not on form at this moment in time, and often when you're in that rut of poor form, the harder you work to get out of it, the worse it seems to get. Form is one element you can't control by will or just turn on like a switch and neither can you determine it's duration, only aid it by being in your best physical and mental conditions of preparedness in order to best maximise it. When both are on it, nobody is complaining about them being in the team, with the polar opposite ringing true in how waxing lyrical about them has been the order of the day.

1-0 away from home wasnt a disaster. We havent looked good all tournament. We're still finding our way. Got to last 8. Went out by a goal to a massive club. Nothing to be ashamed of as long as we learn. The villa game was more unforgivable

They hit the bar hit the post we deserved to lose that game we didn’t want it heavy legs out there poor first touches poor passing hardly anyone showing for the ball fair enough they was compact but I was watching players off the ball Jorginho was the only player really trying to get in pockets and stretch players what was you lot watching???

Ye Jorginho was clearly our standout player, he was the only player who is adapted to this game pace. Rice, Odegaard, Saka and Martinelli all look rushed when they get that half a second less at the top level

Anyone with a brain cell knew Rice would burn out second half of the season, he’s been way off it since the INT break. But he’s the least of our problems, keep him at 6 & bring in a 8

He wasn’t brought in to be our creative force/ball progresser, He’s meant to compliment Partey, odegaard and another top class midfielder.. being asked to do too much and now he’s burnt out at the vital time. His level was so high at the start of the season but he was flat out every game covering spaces for Jorginho/havertz, was always gonna happen

Saka and Havertz in particular were very poor. Martinelli wasn't much better. Raya seems too small in certain situations. Doesn't command his goal enough.

Very good ratings Raya was shocking on the save to his left and also went walkabout when Gabby made the back pass that nearly went in,Saliba was excellent on both games Tommy played very well,Jorginho you gave too higher a mark gave the ball away a few times early and clearly is not physically up to this high level in both games.Later on from the 2nd half onward we were clearly out played physically and I noticed that the other german team the other night finished really strongly as well.

When out wide isn't working for saka he needs to start coming way inside! Get involved in the game! Lose the defdnder that's on him all the time! Constantly just standing in the corner for 90 minutes isn't gonna work every game!

The level of protection Saka gets from arsenal fans is amazing. An ability to benefit from poor marking to be viewed as world class but when up against top opposition his lack of pace. Inability to use his right foot and lack of one on one dominance is for all to see m the difference between him and Bayerns Sane and Gbabry is immense

Another point arteta was mentioning he got a thin squad during a last press conference. But it was his choice to go with a thin squad, during his process . In seriousness if we want to behave like a big club this upcoming season if arteta doesnt deliver after 5 seasons a major trophy league or otherwise time to move onto an experienced coach. Even wenger wasnt given this much money and still managed to deliver major honours.

Arteta has favourites that's why we won't make progress unless he leaves. Took Martineli off instead of Saka? Took off Tomiyasu for Nketiah? Moved Havertz into midfield? Where is Partey? Where is Fabio? Why didn't he sub off Saka? Arteta always bottles it in April. Arteta has reached his ceiling.

Robbie if you understand the game bayern wasn't focused on going all out attack. They game plan was control the game take the 1 nil lead and see it out. Bayern know they not at their best so they closed up the game So kane role was to retain the ball n slow the game

Not an Arsenal fan but have to say Arsenal, for the experience & age of their squad, have done amazingly well this year. When the Arabs took over City, it took them several years to get it right. Same with Klopp and Liverpool. Artera is on an upward trajectory. One of the best young managers in world football. He might still lead Arsenal to the championship

I watched this game for the last 10 minutes, and found Harry Kane won all of the high balls. Then I saw Robbie said Harry Kane did nothing in the game. If not scoring means nothing, Kimmich was the only "thing" for Robbie on the pitch.
