I have dry, rosacea prone skin with wrinkles and skin damage caused by the fact that I'm no longer 20.

Your ability to swatch so evenly and on the fly is legendary. I would need a ruler to space it out and still probably end up with some slanted swatches despite my best effort. Love this and now you are making me rethink the Guerlain quad. 🤔

Beautiful review and swatchfest! Thank you! Rose blushes are such a staple for me, I loved this whole collection of yours. Remember the Chanel "Rose Dust" blush from YEARS ago, I still have it and use it from time to time, and I love "rose Ecrin" and "Rose Bronze" which I think may be available now in the new formulation, they all had this intense rose scent, not anymore 😢

The Jones Road Dusty Rose looks so good on you, and looks so smooth on your skin. I’m glad you made these comparisons, very helpful. I’m glad I skipped the Gucci blushes. I wore the old Chanel blush in Bronze Rose for my wedding 30 years ago. It was gorgeous. I have dry skin. I like luminous blushes, like hourglass, which I have. I need to try the RMS and Haus Lab blushes.

Thank you for reviewing all those blushes. It was great fun to watch. I have a blush by Lancôme called Havana Mocha and when swatched it is very similar to Chanel Mocha, but it has glitter.

Thoroughly enjoyable video, thanks. I prefer very clear pink/rose blushes because anything peachy tends to go orange on me. My overall favorites are the Sisley, Suqqu and a few of the Chantecaille. Cle de Peau cream blushes in Fig and Cranberry work, too, as do a couple of the powder blushes. Sadly, I swore off Chanel blush years ago because they all went hardpan very quickly, which put put me off. Thanks again.

LOVE your intro sentence! You were not exaggerating. You do indeed have an extensive collection of rose-toned powder blushes. Gorgeous earrings! (Now I have FOMO for those - going to check out Chanel Canada.) Thank you for doing all those arm swatches (you could have used a couple of mannequin arms 😉). I think this video is helpful for anyone who misses out on getting the new Chanel Fantaisie blush (it sold out here in Canada within 3 days). BTW, I love the Valentino blush formula (I have the shades you featured) because the finish is subtly luminous and the wear-time is 8+ hours. (Sorry to off topic but) I love the Guerlain eyeshadow on you - I was not going to get it but the lavender shade is so lovely on you that I am now going to pick it up. Thank you for this fantastic video - it must have taken hours to prepare and record.

I enjoyed this. My go to has been the old Chanel Rose Initial blush - discontinued now - and I got one in the after market. But this will help me find new options. One footnote for those who can’t get or don’t want to pay $80 for the new Chanel illuminating blush, the Haus blush called Rose Quartz is a decent dup per Angela van Rose at a better price point.

This was phenomenal Jen! I truly enjoyed it, thanks for doing it, such a huge task, it’s so appreciated! Blushes are probably my favorite makeup product and I have so much, so this was lots of fun! On top of what you showed I also really love Tom Ford blushes, and Cle De Peau. Haven’t try Hermes, but for some reason I’m not tempted… Once again - thanks a million!

Such a fun watch and positive message. I loved seeing the ones I have (CT pillow talk, PM divine rose, RMS French rose) all together and seeing that they actually are all different! Really loving your swatch videos. I’m very fair so I appreciate seeing the colors on you. Every time I see Gucci rosy beige being raced about I just know the shade is all wrong for me. I know it would be muddy on my skin. Great video ❤

2 possible dupes to Jones Rd- Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer, I got Kiss of Pink (the lightest), and it’s pretty dark irl. Also, Bobbi Brown illuminating bronzing powder in Antigua- looks just like Jones Rd.

Jen, I did leave a comment but it's disappeared, so I'll try again. The initial blushes that you showed appeared to lean more of a beige on my telly, not rose. Lethal Cosmetics released some Glow Blushes last year in Blossom and Ornamental that look just like the shades you're after. One is a deeper colour than the other. You can check their website or that of Camera Ready in the US. I also thought of Burberry's Earthy Blush in No.7 which looks quite a beige, earth coloured tone.🇦🇺💖🕊🐇💐🐣

This was amazing and good fun! I feel bad for your arm! I hope you were able to get all that pigment off! Great, great message along with the epic comparisons! My skin tone is in the very fair cool to neutral (you and and a couple other people are shade twins for me) so these are very helpful. I don't tend to gravitate to brown or terracotta clay rose shades, but the Dusty Rose and Mocha (and the Gucci) kind of reminded me of Charlotte Tilbury's First Love, which was described as a peach flush or something, which was straight up brown on me and is still my best bronzer shade years later. This was when she first released online and you had to pick a "look" and I think Pillowtalk was just a lipliner shade and not the whole brand! I think it came with the Rock Chick look or something, but mentioning using blush as bronzer reminded me of that! You look fab today and congrats on your new CC earrings...they are gorgeous! I have oily skin and love the Gucci rosy beige, my other favorite blushes are Chanel and TF. My absolute favorite cream blush is La Prairie Berry Glow....discontinued :-( Why do these brands break our hearts!!

this was awesome! dusty rose/nude blushes have always been my favorite. i immediately knew i liked the jones color but this helped confirm it even more. and despite everyone loving gucci’s rosy beige, every time i swatched in store i was unimpressed by the formula so held off. to me it’s not silky which may be why it doesn’t apply well for you? either way zero fomo now 😂

Such a comprehensive overview! I have my couple of staples in "rose" blush and when I think "rose" I think about a very specific tone, which I now realise is very limited thinking! :D I like the Jones Road bronzer, I think it would be a great everyday shade for blush. I have wanted to get the 30 Montaigne by Dior since forever, and now I don't know if I should wait for the new formula or buy the old one, which I know.

I am loving your swatch videos. I have some of the same products, so these are quite helpful. The one comparison I would love to see from any reviewer is one with Antigua bronzer by Bobbi Brown. I have that one and it might be a great comparison for the Jones Road. But I suspect none of you have that. Thanks for this video. Sooo I thought of another “dusty rose” that might be similar to Jones Road or Chanel Mocha,…but let me know what you think: the Tom Ford Sheer Cheek Duo 02 Éclat Nu (in the white packaging). I love a good rose shade and I have many of the ones you swatched here. I am considering buying the new Bobbi Brown Brightening Blush in the shade Blushed Bronze that I have seen described as a soft rose with bronze shimmer. There aren't too many reviews on it but I think it has that perfect nude-rose tone with a hint of luminescence! Does anyone own it?
