While the Platinum Jubilee was meant to celebrate the surprisingly long reign of Queen Elizabeth II, almost all eyes were instead on Prince Louis as he was seen fidgeting and covering his ears during the flyover in the Trooping The Color military parade. The young prince might have been acting like most kids his age would have, but members of the British royal family are ostensibly held to a higher standard than regular people. There was a moment when Louis turns around to talk to his mom. She lovingly caressed his head and cheek in the sweetest way. It was clear that was a gesture she did often. I think she’s great and those children are stinkin’cute!

Watching Catherine's interactions with Louis during the flyby's & you will remember Princess Diana did the exact same thing with both William & Harry when they were younger & didn't like the noise of the planes.

@@lindamarsh3335 they are different ages, he's only four and did extremely well. The planes going overhead are really noisy and he might have felt it was painful. Other young children on the balcony have had to put their hands over their ears in the past. He wasn't being naughty, just a excited and enjoying seeing the air display.

I enjoyed the precision and colour of the marching soldiers. Also, the beautiful black horses! I think the marching bands were magnicent too! All around, the whole jubilee was well orchestrated and the obvious jubilation and love of the Queen was felt. She deserved it for her loyalty and steadfast dedication to her subjects for all these years! Bless her! A shining example.

He's just a little boy. He isn't used to the sound of low-flying planes and the sounds from a massive crowd. His reaction was expected and entirely natural. If anything, Kate and William would want people to see that their children aren't special, they're just normal children who happen to be Royal. If this monarchy continues after EIIR, at least we know that they're just people, like us, trying their best to do their duty to Country and Commonwealth.

Prince Louis reminds me a lot of Prince William at that age. I remember William running out into the street one time and the Queen had to run after him and grab his hand. All little ones are funny and full of energy at that age. I think Louis is adorable.

IIRC that was at Andrew & Fergie's wedding..as the wedding carriage pulled away from the church little William bolted after it and HMTQ ran and caught him before anyone else even reacted. Louis gave the occasion a bit of innocent, bubbly fun just what was needed.

I hope he is what they experience this behavior often. They are so scared Harry and Meghan will get a little attention. I hope Louis steals all the attention from them. The Jubilee was clearly intended for KATE to hog all the attention just look where she is always position. Shame on the Queen she is not a good Grandmother to Harry. She doesn't deserve Lilibet to carry her name. What i have read she wasn't a good or devoted Mother and her family means nothing to her only the image she project. No worry. God sees them all and he will judge them according. It is obvious Wm made the comment about Archie. And their Children will end up treating each other the way he is treating Harry. And he is someday to head the Church? Well the Lord will have something to say when he is Judged along with Kate and the Queen. Look at how they react to Meghan and her Father and the Futher Queen hasn't spoken to her Mother in month, oh but we don't hear about that because she is going to be a Queen a white Queen. Well Harry and meghan most likely made the comments. Have you forgotten Harry's Paki comments and his other racist stuff over the years. Harry also talked about how Archie, which is Prince George's nickname, favors Meghan. And also talked about Lilibets blue eyes, with Markle Chanting blue blue blue like a moron. She should have honored her mom by naming her Doria, instead of the head of a racist institution, and furthermore denied them titles from that racist, colonist institution, and given them the last name Markle.

Charlotte, if Wills is to be believed, is a force to be reckoned with amongst her siblings: not unlike Great Aunt Annie, I imagine. Hahah.

It’s entirely possible that Charlotte like Louis was bothered by the noise of the parade,aircraft , crowd ,whatever and was reacting in a controlled polite way and had nothing to do with Louis’ antics, it’s perfectly possible. Stop analysing and deconstructing and overreacting to every movement or gesture of theirs. They’re perfectly normal kids with different personalities ,we are mothers too, you know, with perfectly nice well brought up kids. Children will be children, and theres the end to it.

It appeared to me Louie was trying to move closer to the Queen & Charles. It makes me believe that he is close & secure with his grandparents. I didn’t see anything that any one of the children did that was wrong or bad for their age. They all seem very normal.

I am with Louis. His siblings started earlier to be shown in public; but due to the pandemic situation, Louis has to wait and due to that he has less experience. Anyway Prince Charles looks with adoration at Louis; there is a complicity between them. Look at Charles at his mother’s coronation, how bored he was. Louis is still a kid and he does kid’s stuff.😇😇🌹😇😇😇

Charles is just asking Kate to throw Louis out of the balcony. Kate is laughing because she things it will be a good idea if William agrees. The Queen is saying do it when I don’t look. Charlotte is upset because of her little brother yells she can’t hear the planes. Georges isn’t concern by the situation.

I think we now know what Louie stays home a lot. His behavior is very much in line for a 4 yr old. But older Siblings on the hand aren't always amused.
