I have, at one point, owned also the Speedy B 25 in Empreinte (old model) as well. I now have just the Speedy B in DE in 25 -- mainly because I don't have to worry about getting it wet and I liked the way the size looked on me crossbody. One thing I love about all the canvas speedies (including bandouliere) is the lightness of the bag and how many things can fit into them. I sold all the various LV Speedy B's except for Speedy B 25 in Ebene. I totally agree with you that B25 is perfect for cross body and over the shoulder. It fits so much! The only thing I wish it had was a wider opening for canvas, but I've gotten used to the opening and I find that Samorga organizer makes things easy to find. I guess the shorter zipper allows it to be folded..... Thanks for watching and your comments!

At 5'2", I like wearing bags crossbody, and I felt that Speedy B30 looked too big on my frame. I sold Speedy B 25 Monogram because, although I loved the comfort of the straps, I always worried about weather and getting it accidently wet. That said, I loved the crossbody strap of that print. Myfavoritethings oh wow! I have a couple crossbody bags and with a pinched nerve on my neck I was thinking of the 25 in DE. But because I carry SO much I need on a daily basis (meds and what have you, I need to carry things in pouches) I figured the 30 would be better. I even got out the tape measure and measured my bags to see if I have something similar in its size. 😂 Water spots would kill me and the DE looks so much classier to me. I'm 5'4" 150lbs so I think I could probably get away with both. I'm going to a store to try them each on to be sure Thank you again!

I don't think LV monogram is too flashy. So many people wear LV monogram pieces where I live, that it's almost a non-issue. However, as much as I love the monogram 25B, I don't tend to wear it as much as my DE B25 since I'm still worried about getting the vachette dirty. Also, I just got a B25 empreinte pre-loved and am getting the handles and strap replaced. I use my B25 more than my B30 and am currently thinking of selling my B30 and monogram B25. Unfortunately, I don't have a Speedy 35 bandouliere. I think, given your height, you can totally look fabulous in Speedy 35. However, unless you have a lot of things you normally carry, it may sag a lot and fold over as you carry the bag over your shoulder. Meaning, just imagine an unstructured bag with no bottom support over your shoulder. I see some of that in my Speedy 30 B, so I always use a bag shaper. Something to think about...... I would also imagine that if you get a Speedy 30 B, it may look better crossbody than Speedy 35 B --- this is just my opinion not having seen you with either bag size. I think Speedys are deceptively large bag since it's wide almost all the way up to the zipper and can look too bulky if it's too stuffed.

Fingers crossed that it'll work out for you, but remember, you're not locked into anything. So, enjoy using it and see if it works out for you! I've made many, many purchases where I thought something would be great and when I use it, it doesn't work out and vice versa. Even when I do tons of research, what someone may love, I find annoying. Case in point, I bought a Gucci Marmont in Small because I thought it was the perfect size and loved the look, and everyone said how wonderful it was. However, when I've used it, I found the strap falling off my shoulder very annoying. So, I sold it. Good Luck! xx

Nlee 25 will surprisingly a lot. I have a video of what I fit into a 25 size during one of our trips. However, if you want to put a light jacket in or carry an ipad, I would get a size 30. Are you buying a Speedy Bandouliere or a Speedy?

Nlee When I went to NYC in November, I carried a Speedy B 30 and was able to put a scarf, a pair of gloves and even a light sweater in addition to all my other stuff I normally carry. However, in my everyday use, I don't find it necessary to carry the size 30 (except when I need to carry my ipad).

+flmarkchica07 I use the Ebene a lot more since I don't have to worry about weather or water marks. I think the Ebene can look a little more polished especially compare to darker vachetta leather color. To me, monogram looks a little more casual as it ages.

That's a hard one.... but given that B30 has a wider opening and is bigger for your baby's things, I think you might find the 30 more convenient. However, given your height (and not knowing your weight), I would think that 25 would look more proportionate and cute. That said, I think B30 worn over the shoulder would look cute and you can wear it crossbody if necessary. I just think that B30 crossbody on someone short can look a little overpowering (unless that's a look they're going for), but it's also how confidently they carry it. So..... for your practicality daily need with your new baby, I think B30 may be the most practical. That said, I only have the B25 in DE now. I don't have little kids, and B30 was too big for every day use. Also, I was too paranoid with the vachetta on my B25 monogram and wasn't enjoying it. So, I have my B25 in DE that I use regularly especially when I travel, but I miss the comfort of my B25 soft vachetta strap. I'm sorry for not being helpful at all! It's a hard one...........

Hi Dana! I'm so glad you found this so helpful! I'm 5'2" and around 125 lbs and I sold my Speedy B30 a while after I made this video. I was sick of hearing my husband saying that it looked too big on me crossbody (which is the way I wear most of my bags). That said, the size 30 is a very convenient size with a large opening (25 opening is more restrictive) and a huge amount of space (it it almost the same as my Totally MM). That said, get the size that you'll wear a lot. Another issue with B30, for me, was that I normally don't carry so much, so it was usually very empty. I used an organizer for both bags for organization and structure. Hope this helps, and good luck in picking the best bag! ❤️❤️

A A thank you so much! I loved the Speedy b in monogram, and I think I looks different enough from the Damier ebene with very comfortable strap. But I found myself being much more careful with it than the ebene - worrying about getting it wet, etc. also, I wanted other handbags and didn’t feel that I wanted to continue adding without getting some items out of the collection. Also, I feel guilty if I have too many items and not use it. So, I had to decide which of the Speedy b to sell and decided that ebene, for me, was more worry free. I take it traveling all the time because I don’t have to worry about what the weather is going to be like and it’s secure with a zipper. I sold the monogram Speedy B with the intention of purchasing the pochette metis reverse monogram (no vachetta). I hope this is helpful. :-)

+Jodyco1 Hi, I replied to your question in the other video not knowing your height or seeing this question. I'm sorry. If you are 5'6" (and thin :-) ), I think you can wear either the 25 or 30. I'm only 5'2". However, to me, I think the 25 is cuter as a crossbody bag just because of its small size. I find many crossbody handbags these days are small. SpeedyB 25 is great since it can fit a lot (more than Pochette Metis) and still look small enough to be crossbody. That said, I think at your height, you can carry off the size 30 --- it just won't have that "cute, small" look that's popular in current crossbody bags. Size 30 is nice because it has a bigger mouth opening. I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I'm helping at all! I guess the bottom line is that I think you can go with either bag. I'm not sure if Neverful GM is similar to the Speedy 40. Neverful GM is very big and I think may be bigger the Speedy 40, but I'm not sure.... But they are totally different in style and look though..... Also, Speedy 40 is handheld vs. shoulder carry for Neverful. Even if you get Speedy B40, it's a totally different look than the Neverful GM.

I love the easy wider opening of the Speedy 30, but I usually don't carry so much, so I tend to use the B25 more since I think it looks better on my crossbody (I'm 5'2") and I can also wear it over the shoulder. It fits everything I normally carry (including 2-3 pairs of glasses). So, for me, I like the B25 and use it much more often.

sharon mcmann-morelli I don’t think you’d want 2 of the same bags in different sizes. I think when that happens, a person gravitates using one bag much more than the other. You’ll find out which size you like better. You can sell the other one you don’t like. Sometimes, you never know which one works for you until you get it and use it. I’ve had bags that I love that doesn’t work out for my sister and vice versa. Fingers crossed! ❤️❤️

Hi, I love the Speedy B 25 and 30, but I sold my Speedy B30 since I felt that it looked too big on me crossbody - my husband kept saying that I looked like I was wearing a luggage. hahaha! The vachetta leather may get water spots, but it will most likely not get totally ruined with rain. I worry about my Petit Noe because it has so much vachetta on the bottom, but the Speedy, to me, doesn't have an enormous amount of vachetta. I think that with your shoulder issues, I would stay away from the Damier Ebene unless you consider using a thicker LV strap (i.e. canvas green strap from Multi Pochette is what I've used) or an alternative strap (there's an amazon dupe of the multi pochette strap amzn.to/3oMMuQ7 ) - or you might try an alterantive thicker more comfortable straps from Etsy or Mautto or Organize My Bag. The damier ebene strap takes a while to get soft and flexible, but I don't think it gets as flexible and mushy as the well worn vachetta strap. Also, if you load up your Speedy 30, it'll be heavy --- so, it may be better for your shoulders to have a wider strap. Another thought is to buy the monogram Speedy B, also buy the pink or green amazon dupe strap for rainy days, and treat the vachetta with Collonil Carbon Pro Spray amzn.to/3gLfcy3 (this is what I've done with my Petit Noe). Nlee I think if it's a handheld Speedy, you can go with either 30 or 25. In fact, I like the 30 better since it's got a wider opening, and you can get a purse organizer like Samorga if you don't put a lot of things into your purse yet want to keep your things from shifting around inside. However, if it's a Speedy Bandouliere, I think the 25 looks better (appearance wise) for a petite frame person. My daughter is 5'4", and although she could have worn either sizes, we liked the look of the 25 better than 30 in the Bandouliere style. One of my friend said that the 30B looked a little like a luggage especially wearing it crossbody when we tried both the 25 and 30. One negative thing about the Speedy is that it is a dark black hole. Unless you have your things in pouches or have a purse organizer, things can get really lost inside. That being said, I use the Speedy B 25 MUCH More than the 30. In fact, ever since I got the Speedy Bandouliere 25 recently, I've only used the Speedy B 30 once (when I had to carry my husband's Ipad on a shopping trip) . Also, I use the Damier Ebene print a LOT more than the Monogram since it's more carefree and I don't have to worry about getting water spots (and we've been having a lot of sudden torrential rain in my region). Hi Sharon! I think the 30 look much more like a purse than the 40. It all depends on how much you carry and what you want to use it for. But unless you want to carry a lot of things (kind of a duffle or gym bag amounts), I would definitely recommend the 30. You can carry a ton in 30 as well since the depth of the speedy is so wide. My Speedy 30 (when I had it) fit approximately similar amounts of things as my Totally MM (when I had it). I hope this helps! xx

I really struggled with letting it go since I did love wearing it over the shoulder. I liked the size for those days when I needed to put a little more in. That said, I normally wear my bags crossbody. The 25 opening is definitely much more limiting than the 30. The size 30, I think, fit as much as the Totally MM tote bag. I think the 30 looked, great handheld and over the shoulder. I was trying to make a strategic (and dare I say "responsible" 😂) decision when I sold the 30. That said, I don't regret the sale since I like wearing my 25 over the shoulder and also crossbody. I, personally, liked the 25 more than 30. But if you love the 30, I'd make sure that you love the 25 more before selling the 30. Either way, it's a difficult decision..... 😊💕

Bee, I sold my 30 in Ebene and 25 in mono and kept only the 25 in Ebene. I use most of my bags crossbody and everyone kept saying that 30 looked huge on me. Also, I didn't like how it sort of caved in and flattened by the zipper on top when I had the bag organizer inside (which I needed since it has no organization), and without the organizer, it would sort of cave in the middle when I wore it over the shoulder. It looks great and kept its shape using it handheld. I miss it though...... it's a fantastic size for winter since I could put my scarves and gloves, etc...... I sold the mono because I was paranoid about the vachetta leather getting dirty. Also, I sold it when I decided to get the Pochette Metis. I felt that both will fit around the same amount and Pochette Metis in Reverse Monogram is worry free. However, I love the look of the mono 25 and miss it also. I am keeping the Ebene 25 since I can wear it in so many ways. It is my "go to" bag when I travel. I love the zipper security and the fact that it looks great crossbody on me. (I had things stolen out of backpack in Rome, so I will NEVER wear a crossbody bag in a crowded places on my back no matter how secure I fee it is). I miss the 30 and 25 Mono, but I don't regret selling them since I got other bags which looks different enough and can hold similar amounts. I was wearing the Speedy B25 a lot before, but I find myself grabbing for my Chanel Jumbo Single Flap and Pochette Metis a lot more these days. I only have used the Speedy B25 when I've traveled abroad which was around 6-8 weeks last year. It's funny how our uses and tastes change over the years...... WOW, I've really rambled on! @@beerachael I considered the alma bb and croisette. In fact Alma bb was on my wishlist last year. However, after seeing what happens to some of the preloved Alma bb, I decided not to get it. 1. When you wear it crossbody, and because it's a structured bag, there can be an indentation where the bag hits my hip bone. 2. I've seen too many bags with an indentation where the handles lay on the bag. 3. Unless you carry small amount, (unlike Speedy 25 size capacity), when you try to zip up the bag, it gets wonky, and finally 4, when you wear it crossbody, because one strap is on one side and the other on the opposite handle side, it hangs funny. For these reasons, I decided against getting the Alma bb. However, I think it's adorable! I admire people who can just wear and not be crazy picky like me :-). I like the Croisette, but I wasn't sure about the opening and the closure. It always has to be close and top is narrower than the bottom on a small purse. Also, If the flap closure is not easy to get in and out, I really need a back pocket for easy access to my phone. The only purse I may tolerate being inconvenienced is a Hermes Kelly (which I don't have and am thinking of getting in Spain next week). I don't know enough about Hermes to just go and buy....... I like bags that are easy to manage -- can't deal with worrying about rain, scratches, etc. I'm thinking Retourne in Togo leather, but I'm not sure what other leather (other than Epsom) is carefree in Hermes. I probably will never be offered anyway..... Also, I really think it's an incovenienly structured bag and the only reason I really am thinking of wanting this bag is because everyone says how difficult it is to get and how nice it is. My favourite Hermes is the bollide(?) that bag is classic and stunning, maybe one day........

+Jo Khan For aestetics, if you want a crossbody bag, I would recommend the 25 rather than 30 -- I think it looks much better. However, 30 fits so much more. With 2 babies, I think 30 is much better functionally -- easier to find things due to bigger opening and more space. However, if you want the one you can use after your children get older and still look good, I would get the 25 and carry a tote for "baby things". 25 can still fit a lot. I made a video on all the things I was able to carry during a vacation trip. I'm biased. I really like the look of the 25 for someone who is petite. 30 looked like a luggage when I wore it crossbody. However, I like the 30 when I wear it over the shoulder. I'm not much help--- I'm sorry. But if it were me, I'd buy the 25 bandouliere and carry a tote if I need to carry a lot for the kids. I thought it would bother me too, but it doesn't bother me since I keep things in small pouches including a pochette accessoire where I keep my wallet and my phone for easy access. I also like the B25 better than B30 because my things are more contained and not moving around inside the purse. However, if you are leaning towards B30, I think Speedy B 30 looks great over the shoulder and handheld even for shorter women, but I like the look of a small handbag, such as the Speedy b25 for crossbody --- that's just me. If you are on the plump size, Speedy B 30 may not be too overwhelming on your frame especially over the shoulder. I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I'm not much help. Either way, I love the Damier Ebene more than the monogram since I can wear it in any weather and is more carefree!

+Nancy Montgomery my opinion is you buy whatever you want. if you want to rock a Speedy 35B, do it. it's your money and it's your taste. i know i always regret purchases that i bought because it "suited" me better. or, others would try to dissuade me from certain styles from because it didn't "fit" my personality. if you ever have to talk yourself into something, it's never a good thing. trust me, i learned this the hard way!

+Artichoke Heart I totally agree with you! People should get what makes their "heart sing". I guess I should have said that at the beginning of the video. However, my video on which size bag to choose is just my opinion from my experience. However, sometimes we don't excatly know which bag we would really like and vacillate from one design or size to the next. Also, changes in our lifestyle also can change which purse works for us at a particular time period of our lives. I thought I wanted the B30 more and when I first purchased the Bandouliere since it was bigger (i can carry more) and had a bigger mouth opening. I was wrong, and I didn't know it until I used the B30 for a while and realized that it looked really large on me and that the things were shifting around inside. I know that I watched every KZfaq videos on 25 & 30 when I was deciding to purchase and bought a 30 size thinking this was what I wanted. However, it wasn't until after using 30 for a while and then getting the 25 that I realized that I love the 25 much more and that I was able to manage the small mouth opening. (However, the small opening of 25 might irritate the hell out of some people). Plus, my family member (who tend to be "super" honest with me :-)) told me that the 30 looked big on me and that 25 was a much better "fit" for my frame. That's why I decided to make the video -- to hopefully be a help to people who are trying to decide. But, I totally agree with you, if someone loved a particular purse, they should definitely get that one instead of listening to what other people say is better suited for them. Amanda J Keto Girl I’m 5’2” and used to have the 30 but sold it. Now I have the b25 and love it! But a lot of people have the problem with small opening of the 25. I don’t mind ever since I got a bag organizer and also I use pouches stacked. The empreinte 25 opens wider, but I like that I can fold the cabana 25 flat for travel. It is more stiffer than the vachetta strap -- Vachetta becomes buttery soft. However, I've had the ebene strap for several years and have used it a lot and now, it's very flexible. I don't find it a problem at all. :-). Thanks for your question!

Thanks for your reply. I love the monogram print, but the vachetta got me "scared". I mean, water, elements, etc.. that like buying something expensive, but you cant enjoy it. By the way, I wanna get it for my wife as Im going to UK soon.. heard heathrow is among the cheapest

Yes. I'm not sure if LV store is in Heathrow, but Europe was much cheaper for me to purchase luxury handbags last year. I sold my monogram bag because, even though I absolutely loved carrying it, I was too worried to get it spotted! Instead, I purchased a Pochette Metis in reverse monogram with doesn't have any vachetta. However, I miss the monogram speedy. I also sold the 30 size -- too big and collapses on top when carrying it over the shoulder. One thing to note with Ebene print is that it can show wear more, I think, than the monogram. the brown check print can wear and become black on the corners with extensive use -- look at some of the preloved items. It's not a problem for me since I don't even notice it unless I look close. I wish I could be a fly and watch your wife open your wonderful gift! Congratulations to her!

This will be her 1st "big brand". now is mostly kate, coach, longchamp, michael, etc..yup, I think the non treated leather will be a "nightmare".. cant imagine not getting our hands "clean/ dry".. yes there is infact 2 LV in Heathrow.. terminal 3 and 5. I check it vs my place (Malaysia) and its at least 25% cheaper.. once again thank you for your great advice.

However, I've had my Speedy B25 in DE for several years and have used it a lot and it's gotten a lot more comfortable and I really enjoy wearing it. I also like that I don't have to worry about water spots (which is why I ended up selling my monogram Speedy.). I’m 5’2”. I agree that It’s a hard choice. After this video, I sold everything except the speedy b25 in Damier Ebene. I sold the 30 because everyone said that it looked like a duffle bag when I wore it crossbody (I like to wear my bags crossbody). I sold the b25 in monogram to buy the pochette Métis since they were both monogram and got similar amounts (although looks different) and can both be worn crossbody. I don’t have the PM anymore since it was deemed defective. I kept the de speedy b25 since I don’t have to worry about weather. The long strap got softer than when I first got it. I still have the speedy b25 in de. In fact, after using it for 5 years, I sold it and bought a brand new one in the exact same print and size. It’s my favorite bag to take on trips. One negative is that it is a black hole with a smaller opening. But I use a bag organizer inside, so I don’t find it hard to find my items in the bag. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Also with Anastasia makeup. It's pronounced incorrectly all the time as well. I'm aware this video is about the bag, but it prompt me to think of it as well.

Ebene is also pronounced incorrectly more often than not 🤦🏾‍♀️
