Found in Luke chapter 15, the Parable of the Prodigal Son is one of the most famous parables Jesus ever told. Charles Dickens referred to it as "the finest short story ever written." Consisting of 21 verses, this is the longest parable in the Bible and it is packed with numerous truths about God, the kingdom of heaven, and eternal life.
